terrorists released in photos are fat and strong and healthy ...speaks loads about Jewish humanity vs. Hamas and Palestinian cruelty...also that woman on Egyptian TV was so disgusting this morning...

Firstly we thank G-d for his release and now he can be with loved ones at long last. This whole episode just showsus the different values shared by different nations. In order to get Gilad back, Israel was prepared to give over 1000 prisoners, Hamas were not prepared for a 1:1 exchange, their value for life is so much lower and this is the root of all our problems.

I had thought that the lack of evidence from Hamas for such a long time was a sign that Gilad was dead and Israel would wind up getting nothing more than his body in a box. I am so happy for him and his family that he's still alive and is now back in Israel. It will be a long road to recovery for him--both his physical health and his mental well-being--and I wish him the best. Whatever others may feel about the trade to get him back--whatever may come of it down the road--I'd never wish this happiness taken away from him or his family. Is it just that murders are now roaming the streets? No. But will the trade start violence that wasn't already in existence? No. In the grand scheme of things, I doubt seriously that the release of prisoners will make any difference. There is a never-ending supply of terrorists regardless of who is in jail and who is free. But it makes a great deal of difference to Gilad and his family and even to the people of Israel if he's free. I wish him the very best for his life and future, and may he never know hunger again.
