31. Time for Disengagement 2
MarcV ,   Miami, USA   (10.20.11)
Since Abbas won't return to negotiations Israel should state that they are going to withdraw from territory (note: not "THE" territories) as specified in UN resolutions. Then Israel can decide on the final border and withdraw from the rest of Areas B and C on the PA side. This is the only way the world will understand that Jerusalem will not be re-divided and that Israel is under no obligation to withdraw from all territory.
32. ALL of these negotiations are just a charade
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (10.20.11)
and NOTHING will come out of it ...there are NO painful decisions for Israel to make...! The Palis are checkmate and they may very well know this by themselves...!

Israel PM has not the balls to annex Judea and Samaria-if he did he would have done so.Repatriation?Where? Gaza and Jordan? And don't tell me that Israel makes decisions to that magnitude-without US approval Israel is nothing. You are well past the age to comment the same dribble Sarah.
35. #18. The right continues it's decades long ascent..
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.21.11)
#18 Avramele. What happened to the preeminent leftist party Meretz? It's so far gone even you don't mention it in your highly whimsical analysis. Israeli voters are decimating the left for good reason. It's policies, most notably the monstrous Two State Final Solution, are absolute disasters for Israel. Likud is getting stronger; not eroding. You're correct about only one thing. Kadima is declining and will continue to do so. Labor will not do nearly as well as it hopes. Bottom line: The Israeli right will continue it decades long ascent. Ultimately, with genuine patriotic policies. Religious Zionists and the secular right can and must take the reins of power.

You are completely delusional if you think that Israeli existential decisions are made anywhere except Jerusalem. You saw how much attention Israel paid the United States when it came to Osirac. You saw how much attention Israel paid the United States when it came to Cast Lead. You saw how much attention Israel paid the United States when it comes to building up the settlements and East Jerusalem. You saw how much attentionb Israel paid the United States when it came to the MAVI MARMARA. How's it going for the ersatz "Palestinians" at the United Nations? Not so well, eh? Surprise, surprise. Lip service is one thing, ya'habibti. When push comes to shove, no responsible government will support a bunch of maddog terrorists, and everyone knows that that is really all to which the ersatz "Palestinians" can lay claim. Keep on drinking the Kool-Aid. The next prime minister of Israel is very likely to be Avigdor Lieberman. Bye-bye ersatz "Palestinians." But Netanyhahu may get to it first. By the way, where you from today? Is it Jerusalem? Akko? Jaffa? Where are your mother's tiny feet these days?
