1. officer dismissed
steve   (10.24.11)
The IDF becomes an army of lawyers who are outcome driven. He was not dismissed for insubordination, rather for the result. What will the next officer do with this team of lawyers in his head? Wait to get stoned?
2. ... when lions become chickens
mary of Bethany ,   singapore   (10.24.11)
"... some of whom were hurling stones" are definitely not innocents civilians! this is the day when soldiers arrest settlers defending lying arab-Israelis. this is the day when Israel demolish soldiers' very own house in so-call "settlements" this is the day Israel released terrorists that IDF captured with their own blood shed. this is the Day when lions became chickens.
3. will Leftists know IDF are not SUPERMAN? they can bleed too
mary of Bethany ,   singapore   (10.24.11)
"The attack followed a PA assault on the Jewish village of Esh Kodesh. PA Arabs initially blamed the attack on Jews living in the village, but later investigation showed that Jews had not approached Kfar Qusra at any point during the day. Soldiers responded with non-violent means of riot dispersal, primarily tear gas. However, before they could drive the rioters away, a group of attackers managed to get close to three soldiers and hurl large rocks at them from a short distance. Fearing for their lives, the soldiers opened fire, hitting and killing 34-year-old Issam Badaran. A subsequent investigation found that the soldiers’ lives had been in danger and their actions were justified." when will leftists understand the rocks they throw are the most ancient form of deadly weapons that still work today! you want IDF to throw stones back at "demonstrators"?
4. arab "Price tag" met with silence, IDF busy capture soldier?
mary of Bethany ,   singapore   (10.24.11)
"A makeshift memorial to a young father and son murdered by Palestinian Authority terrorists was defaced overnight. The memorial was covered with Arabic writing, and with a picture of a terrorist recently set free in the Shalit deal. Israeli media outlets which have given significant coverage to recent Jewish “price tag” activity, particularly a terror orphan’s vandalism of the Rabin memorial, failed to even report the incident. The desecration of the memorial to Asher and Yonatan Palmer “fits in very well with the enemy’s victory celebrations and boasting, fed by Israel’s collapse [in the Shalit deal],” said the grassroots Judea Residents’ Council." just read this today. Ynetnews, kindly report this, Israelis need to know more about arab "price tag", while so much actions against jewish "price tag". maybe IDF too busy capturing their own soldiers
5. just passing the buck
Yisraeli   (10.24.11)
just passing the buck to the shin gimel in this case. had soldiers been injured or die he would be blamed and brought on charges as to why he didnt open fire. tzahal is not what it once was. now more concerned with PC and foriegn eyes, protecting citizens no longer a priority on the contrary protecting the enemy is. sad very sad. id sack the whole upper echelon, theyre mostly all lefty wannabees.
6. FORGIVE AND FORGET

7. Has the IDF gone crazy?
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (10.24.11)
An officer is dismissed for shooting at Arabs that were stoning his men. Dont they know that a stone thrown with force is a dangerous missle. This sends a terrible message to the soldiers. " Put your lives at risk but dont you dare shoot an Arab."
8. Take care of our own!
Kayla ,   Florida   (10.24.11)
They felt threatened and outnumbered? What happened to the 200 demonstrators--especially those throwing stones--an act of assault and potential murder? TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN!
9. The dismissal is a VERY bad decision!
Israeli 2   (10.24.11)

Rivkah   (10.24.11)
mere suggestions in the IDF and got promoted to General.
12. Correct as it may be, this decision proves our
tom ,   tel aviv   (10.24.11)
constant fear of "inflaming" the Arab sector. How right the Latma-people are, when they appointed Tawhyil Fadiha as Minister of uncontrollable Palestinian rage... :-))))
13. If he were Palestinian & responsible for a Jew's death...
Charles   (10.24.11)
He'd be promoted and have a city square named in his honor.
14. IDF Officer Dismissed
Bruria   (10.24.11)
We need to be getting rid of the higher ups--starting with that toady Barak! Never thought I would see a day that murderers and terrorists would be coddled and educated while Israelis are brutalized and thrown in jail for the sake of political correctness. Time to Clean House!
15. dismissed?
Boaz ,   Australia   (10.24.11)
Israel has gone crazy, but in doing so endangeres the whole of the jewish people. Why even bother defending Israels right in the Diaspora. I for one I am glad to have left Israel with my children because I saw the signs long ago and unfortunately I was right. I wish I was wrong. I just feel sorry for the younger generation and the generations to come. When will they wake up? G-d forbid when it is too late?
16. E Barak must resign ASAP !
Trumpeldor   (10.24.11)
17. The outcome did not dispute the IDF soldier
John ,   Alaska   (10.24.11)
He said they were in danger. They said the incident's timing was bad. I'm not sure what will help me to have more (read any at all) respect for the personnel in charge of the IDF from your worse-than-useless defense minister on down. But I am sure that I am not alone in how I feel. IDF Command staff, please give us a reason to trust you again.
18. Most moral army in the world!
Reyes ,   USA   (10.26.11)
