Stay out of Turkey. The last thing Israel needs is more hostages.

As Usual Israel is in the front line to aid others in need , although i highly recommend Israel for its initiative,it might again be used against them with unfunded claims of 'organ harvests' as we have seen in the past.

That region has mixed populations: secular Turks, Islamist Kurds, and pro-PKK Kurds. 6 out of 9 people killed on IHH flotilla raid were Kurds, IHH is formed by Kurds. There were huge funeral ceremonies in Kurdish towns with hatred and revenge sworn against Israel. If the Israeli teams arrive in a Kurdish religious area, that might create tension and violence. Pro-PKK Kurds also see Israel as part of imperialist/capitalist world, so Israeli teams may not be welcomed in those parts.

As a Turk, I think Israel's offer is a great gesture. Turkish State did not accept any offers from any country including Germany, US, Iran, Israel or Japan. Turkey's rejection of Israeli aid isn't a statement against Israel. Although it is a huge earthquake, Turkey has means to tackle this problem. I would have liked to see Israeli aid workers to work side by side with the Turks though. That would be nice. Pray for peace between Israel and Turkey.
