Israel's greatest strategic asset is the support of the US and American Jewry. Lieberman is personna non grata in Washington and among most American Jews. He is to abba eban and Golda what Rick Perry or Bachman are to James Madison. G-d save us or better yet a timely legal indictment.

Ahmed's actually being sincere. He is expressing the reality. Peace can only be had if leadership from both sides invests in educating he next generation of children in demonstrating the positives as opposed to the heavy dosage of the negatives that we all know too well. Israel needs to continually inform the world of the facts. That housing developments are for Arabs citizens as well, that Abbas has no authority to lead because his term is up. Only 25% of aid money to Palestine is from Islamic countires, Etc. Stress the archeological facts that show Jewish people lived in the Holy Land first, than Christians, than Muslims. The law of history is force rules the land. If Israel has to give land back to the defeated, than I have long list of land I want back. Lets start with Istanbul back to Christians (Constantinople). Expose their mountain of hypocricy CONSTANTLY for the world to see and Israel will gain respect.

I think this is a game of good cop vs.bad cop. Hoping Lieberman makes Natanyahu appear reasonable and sincere when he dumps on the Palestinian negotiations.

While I appreciate and respect your sentiments, permit me to inform you that the day Israel decides it no longer wishes to play tag with the Arabs, the Arabs disappear. You do realize that, don't you? The conflict isn't going to go on for a very long time at all. The Israelis are losing patience. And that does not bode well for Arabs, ersatz "Palestinians" or Moslems. You people have perpetrated enough evil upon the world. And no one really cares what they are or are not willing to "accept" in their midst. We run the show. Have six wars and seven decades of vicious ersatz "Palestinian" terrorism taught you nothing?

Lieberman does not speak the language of appeasement, but the language of truth. You call him 'dangerous' but sometimes there is danger in doing the right thing. It's time for more leaders in the West to grow a thicker skin and get over the neurosis of offending the enemy, as the Arabs constantly illustrate.
