1. NO FAIR! NO FAIR!!
Gideon Reader ,   USA   (10.29.11)
How can the Socialist Justice wankers kvetch and moan; demanding the fruits of another's work, when the other a__holes are shooting their fireworks into the middle of the arena? IT(Life) simply is not fair!!
2. More prot ests
Spencer ,   Israel   (10.29.11)
Daphni Leef cares only about herself. She is looking for publicity and the media are falling all over her. Things have started to move in the right diresction and all these protes will succeed in doing, is causing the position to revert back to what it was ...more suffering for the poor ( and Daphni Leef doesn't fall into the category of "poor" or "homeless".
3. protest
pnina ,   israel   (10.30.11)
I'm all about social justice, but to carry on with this protest while your brothers and sisters in the south are hiding in shelters is the absolute height of selfishness. The government has other things on its mind at the moment besides listening to your temper tantrums. And I thought this movement was about taking care of each other. Shame on you! Bushah!
4. Daphni tours
Miche Norman ,   Hod Hasharon Israel   (10.30.11)
Please lay off Daphni leef she is hinestly concerned that some Israelis cannot afford a holiday in Greece so she is demanding that our government follow their disastrous economic policy, so that we too can have 20% unemployment and a collapsed economy. Many middle class Israelis who work for companies who have been threatened by the Student leader or face going under because of the relation of import controls are hoping that the result of this idiot;s work will just be that we dont get a pay rise, yet again next year, but more realistically expect companies to go to the wall taking hundreds of thousands of jobs with them.
5. To #1: You are right; we should all stay in our houses!
Worried Citizen ,   Actually in Israel   (10.30.11)
That would seriously help those within the missile range. If I'd lived there I'd be grateful to know that everyone has neglected a cause I support because of the threat of terror. Truly inspiring!
6. Shameful protest - lucky to have a country!
(10.30.11)
7. If the protest leaders had any brains...
(10.30.11)
...in light of the rocket fire...They would change the reason for the rally to protest and support their right to live in their country - without terrorist killers!
8. don't stop
Jewish Whale ,   Haifa, Israel   (10.30.11)
Rockets falling in the South or anywhere in the country is no excuse to cease protesting- keep going. The government must protect everyone!
9. Question
Ellen ,   Israel/USA   (10.30.11)
How many people would be attending were it not for the well known singers and groups that perform. Yes, some are there for social protest, but I bet a huge percentage are there for the free top name performances! Lets see this bunch of trouble makers call a rally without the added lure of entertainment. Let's see how many come out then!
10. i smile coz i can see israel in the "arabs regime" style
Jalal ,   Gaza   (10.30.11)
when leaders seeing their people as cheeps riding them whenever they go in another track of the path that's mean it time to use the dog to make them fear so that's it .. when anyone in israel ask 4 his rights we can simply kill Palestinian or Lebanese or even start a small war and that will make the cheeps go quit and back to track kol hakavod new israeli regime
11. Daphni Leef is the new boss. She's calling the shots.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (10.30.11)
12. They should have respect for fellow Israelis being rocketed
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (10.30.11)
These protesters , in this case should have been protesting against Gaza rockets being fired against their brothers and sisters in the South of Israel. They should show unity, respect, and solidarity for all Israelis.
13. What happens when Tel Aviv is target of rockets ?
Abraham ben Jacob ,   Canada   (10.30.11)
ALL Israelis should show unify in the midst of rocket attacks against any part of Israel. ALL Jews in Israel are really being targeted by the blood thirsty enemy.. Does anyone in Tel Aviv believe they are immune to any future rocket attacks ? Please wake up, be aware of dangers that surround you. For how long will the enemies of Israel be content to rocket only certain towns in Israel ?
14. Shame on these lazy morons.
Wise Saba ,   Ma"agalim   (10.30.11)
They are partying while we're being shot at. Let these lazy good for nothing morons go out & get a job & work for everything the same way their parents & I did.
15. #3 pnina is correct
Netanya ,   Netanya   (10.30.11)
Do these protesters really care about others? Why would they march when those in the south are being fired on, scared by alarms and hiding in shelters or even worse, hit by shrapnel or rockets? If the protesters really cared about everyone, they would also go into shelters or at least stop the protests in solidarity for those who are really at immediate risk. A cheap apartment will not help if rockets are coming into Israel. Marching, smiling, etc are not in order while we have this reality in the south.
16. Mommy, I want my Bamba NOW! A-a-a!!!
Ariel ,   Europe   (10.30.11)
17. Hey what about the million person march?
m.z. ,   Jerusalem   (10.30.11)
er, well, 350K or, rather, 100K or finally 20K. In Tel-Aviv, one can get more demonstrators for a washed up singer or a bird with a hurt wing I say. But protest on if it makes you feel good.
18. If daffy cared about Israel and Israelis,
jason white ,   afula, israel   (10.30.11)
then she would have served in the I.D.F.! We should cut welfare programs and use the money for the defense of Israel. And those that never served in the I.D.F. should pay half their salaries for a defense tax. Also draft dodgers should be sent to prison for a longer period of time than they were supposed to serve and no higher education for them either.
19. Didn't realize how really expensive it all is here
Talula ,   Israel   (10.30.11)
until I went to London two weeks ago. London is supposed to be one of the most expensive cities in the world - so how come everything in the supermarkets was so much cheaper than here? Long term plans need to be put in pace here - we cannot continue like this.
20. to #19 Things are expensive, because
jason white ,   afula, israel   (10.30.11)
are willing to pay. If people stopped buying so much and waited the prices would go down. But people would rather pay high prices and get their new cellphones, or jeans or tablets. I paid 380 shekels for eyeglass frames last week. They cost about three dollars in China. If I did not need them, I would have ordered from the chinese factory and saved a lot of money. Look for bargains and wait for sales. If you know an Israeli product is cheaper overseas, do not buy it here! Let it sit in the stores and warehouses. Also check that the Israeli product is made in Israel and not overseas.
21. @19 things are cheaper in London
rebecca ,   Modiin   (10.30.11)
because they are marked in pounds - and it's 1 pound to 5.8NIS. London is NOT cheaper than Tel Aviv.
22. Dont let rockets stop protests -
rebecca ,   Modiin   (10.30.11)
unless, as in Be'er Sheva it puts the protesters in danger. But please stop for a moment in your protest and show respect in some way to those being attacked as you listen to the latest free concert.
23. Social justice? Try national justice.
Ashirah Yosefah ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (10.30.11)
Summer is over. The nights are getting chilly in Israel. Forget your new Motsi Shabbat parties and focus on a greater good: A semblance of national unity and justice for our cities and communities being bombarded by missiles. You worry about high rents. Most of us living in Israel do likewise. Meanwhile, our southern brothers and sisters worry about having a home at all in the morning and whether they and their children will be alive to perserve being daily missile targets. Perhaps our priorites need some adjustment???
24. to #19 Talula
pnina ,   israel   (10.30.11)
The trouble with this protest is that you and your friends go on vacation to London and then whine about the price of groceries in Israel. Something is very wrong with that picture!
25. Obama Leftists
Brod ,   USA   (10.31.11)
They are Obama Leftists pure and simple.
