1. Ron Ben-Yishai, If I have understood you correctly,
Salma ,   Palestine   (10.30.11)
your point is, there are common interests between "Israel" and Iran. Simply because it was not expected that Islamic Jihad would send flowers to "Israel" after killing five of them.
2. #1 Salma
Cynthia ,   USA   (10.30.11)
First Islamic Jihad fired a grad rocket at Israel. Then the terrorists were killed because they belonged to the cell that fired the rocket. Your Islamic Jihad "resistance" fighters serve Iran, not the Palestinians. In fact, they undermine the Palestinians.
3. allah willing....
Jackson ,   Melbourne   (10.30.11)
that rockets dont hit any targets and even blow up on the people shooting them. and allah willing that all of the idf/iaf hit their targets!
4. Ashdod/Ashqelon "outskirts of major hubs"??! There's no
tom ,   tel aviv   (10.30.11)
limit to Newspeak when it comes to convoluted explanations by the experts in the field of "How to appease the Islamic Beast"- faculty! All the names and all the "ideologies" behind these various Islamic organizations are supposed to show us, the tax-paying simpeltons that the Reality is much more complicated than we imagine (or actually aren't able to imagine!) Makes me laugh & cry and want to murder somebody at the same time. The results are the same: we, the Jews die in these attacs. To make matters worse: we do not care, so it seems. But the cottage-cheese, now there's a cause worth dying for!!
5. islamic jihad-@ salma in ?
Hansi ,   stuttgart germany   (10.30.11)
Jihad would send flowers to israel.? of course not selma dont you remember?, after israel left gaza ,first hamas dit all to destroy the hot-houses with it flowers. you people had the choice and as allways you miss it selma of "palestine?)
6. It is time to hit iran with neutron bombs!
jason white ,   afula, israel   (10.30.11)
Destroy teheran and revolutionary guard bases. A couple in gaza city would bring the terrorists and their supporters to their knees, if they survive.
7. then what?
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (10.30.11)
First, Hamas was a threat so the extreme Left brought Fatah to handle them "bli bagatz and bli betzelem". Then it turned out that Fatah can't fight Hamas without IDF help, and Hamas isn't actually responsible for territory it rules. So does Ben Ishai propose that IDF help Hamas fight Islamic Jihad? And what happens when the Arabs announce there is a new group so extreme that even the IJ can't control? Will Ben Ishai say that the IDF fight Hamas to protect Fatah, fight IJ to protect Hamas and fight the new group to protect IJ? Wouldn't it be easier to liberate Judea, Samaria and Gaza from all terrorist organizations including Fatah, Hamas and IJ?
8. picture
ella ,   tlv   (10.30.11)
where can i find that picture that was attributed with the article on the ynet title page...it says so much
9. No, Salma, you show again you prefer dead heroes
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (10.30.11)
If you didn't like martyring yourselves so much, Salma, you silly Palestinians might have had a country already. However, the more you show the world that you have no control over the war crimes you commit, the less the world is interested in having you.
10. Here is the plan
Steve from Raleigh   (10.30.11)
1 execute all terrorists in prison today 2 napalm Gaza
11. Jihad/Hamas Succeded, Israel Failed
Ron ,   oc, us   (10.30.11)
Yes Jihad took some casualties but they are acceptable. One Israeli was killed, several others wounded and there was considerable property damage in Israel. Jihad found out that Israel seemed to be hampered by Goldstone. Speaches by Lieberman, Peres and the defense establishment telling of the cost to hamas fell on deaf ears. Not only in Gaza but Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. If economic targets in Gaza were burning the rocket fire would have stopped. My understanding is that the IAF were permitted about 10 sorties. This will not deter hamas/jihad.
12. Speaking The Terrorists' Language
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (10.30.11)
Israel must make it clear to Hamas/Jihad that for every rocket that falls on Israel one Hamas/Jihad leader will be eliminated. Unfortunately, it's the only language these animals understand.
13. Pathetic
Nechama ,   Sydney, Australia   (10.30.11)
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and over again and expecting a different outcome. So who is more crazy? Hamas/Islamic Jihad or Israel? Toss up. The longer Israel waits to solve their 'Palestinian' problem with force, the worse it will be. By all means, give them plenty of time to 'practice' and 'test' to see how far their rockets can reach inside Israel. Stupid is as stupid does.
14. Declare Marshal Law
Noah Lev ,   LosAngelesUSA   (10.30.11)
Who is worse for Israels security, the protestors ( cottage cheese, nursery school fees, rentals in Tel Aviv, and docs salaries), or Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, Al Aksa Mosque, DFLP, PFLP, etc., etc? In fact, they all undermine a nations security. No other country woudl allow this to go on. Even Syria, which bames the US/Israel for the protests..at least does what IT believes is in its best interests..(?). To the man killed by shrapnel, and the potential of harm as the attacks continue...it doesnt really matter. Getting killed is bad no matter how. Israel still doesnt have a policy for most everything, even its own anarchists. Here in Oakland, protestors were tear gassed, while in LA, they remain strident, causing havoc. Israel should: call for marshal law...bring in capital punishment, hang the Barghoutis, go into the Strip and slice it into pieces. Then talk about peace with the Pals.
15. External factors leave 1 option: BIG ISRAEL
Jerry ,   The Netherlands   (10.30.11)
16. Appeasement of Hamas, Islamic Jihad not the answer
Steven A. ,   Bay Area, USA   (10.30.11)
Giving Hamas free rein in Gaza turned out to be a mistake. Is there any way Gaza can be integrated with Egypt? Otherwise it seems Israel has no choice but to remove the Iranian influence by force.
