The Druzim serve in the IDF and pay taxes. If it was Arabs from Umm al-Fahm or Tayibe, i'd at least understand, but this is absolutely appalling!

Druze may be closely related to Arabs BUT they are not the same. The Druze serve in the army, the Druze have been captured by Hamas and imprisoned as Israelis. This type of behavior HAS TO STOP! Right now many of the Arabs are a fifth column in Israel. We do not need to behave in a fashion that would push the Druze to the same position. The issue is not only racism, but also discrimination and violation of human right and certainly not in accordance of Judaism. This kind of behaviour must stop because simply it just leaves a black mark on Israel. And by the way, where are the authorities, complaint or no complaint?

Druze are good people. Serve in the army, good citizens and pay taxed as others. Landlord and other filth should be ashame! Don't treat Druze like regular Arabs. Treat them with respect and honor and they treat the state of Israel with great honor.

That is as shameful an attitude as the sinful attitude the Haredi showed to these kids. The Druze love you and fought for you. That is why they serve in the IDF. You should mirror their love for you in your attitude toward their family in the Golan Heights. All these boys want is to share your home, not to displace you. I'm not saying you have to love each other - oh, wait. YES I AM. Your behavior toward any Druze at all is very important to Ha'Shem, who gave you to each other as friends.

Even the commentators here who are against this incident are against it because the victims are Druze, not because it is a racist and discriminatory act against Israeli citizens. Well, that's alone another form of racism. Then you wonder why this happens...

I do read your talkbacks and I know your politics. They pretty much resemble mine. I am not the world's biggest fan of Arabs, but I have absolutely nothing against the Druze. One of my favorite things to do when I return to Israel is to visit Daliyat al Carmel. I have always been treated well, invited into homes, and the last time, a lovely Druze girl made a French braid for me .... something I have never been able to master. To deny loyal Druze a place to live while they study -- having served this country and done their duty -- is nothing short of criminal. Shameful.

Druze, good enough to serve in IDF to protect the jewish state, but not good enough to live is same building with jews. Looks like Islam is not the only religious spreading hate.
