Unique in that Israel provides intelligence for wars like Iraq and special in that it then contributes absolutely nothing in terms of blood and treasure. The US-Israeli alliance is always shrouded in BS terms of unique, special, one-of-a-kind and is supported by "niche" evidence. Why? Because this alliance is not self-evident to any thinking man. The British, Canadians and Australians have fought alongside the Americans in almost all their wars since WW2. Even the French have contributed more blood and treasure to American military efforts than Israel. These reports by biased think-tanks are trying to cover-up the fact that the Israeli-US alliance is a relic of the Cold War that increasingly does little for the US other then provide some nifty little gadgets for their drones that the US could probably develop on their own anyway.
