Iran is rushing to move it's nuclear facilities deep inside mountains. A few well placed smart bombs can turn them into nuclear tombs. Better to stop now their efforts to make nuclear weapons and disarm their terrorist proxies- Hezbollah. Hamas and others. By the way, if Iran dared to retaliate against the US they would deeply regret it. Living in the stone age was not that great!.

The Iranian threat is more or less a hoax - like Saddam's WMD etc. Why on earth should Iran attack Israel? Commodities? Territory? The "poor" Palestinians? The Mullahs control the country and the only thing they want is keeping their power. The educated Iranians want wealth, the uneducated don't even know that Israel exists. The majority of the Iranian people don't hate Israel. But this would change dramatically if Israel would start a war. Iran is much bigger than Israel and they, at least most, don't live in caves. Iran has its own space programme and they will be the fourth country to send people into space. And Israel wants to defeat them with a few F-16 planes? And Israel's potential allies in North America and Europe are broke with large economic problems.

We don't live in big fancy houses like Israeli's and don't make big salaries like Israeli's and we certainly can't afford 7-8 dollars a gallon like Israeli's so stop trying to drag us in a war we can't afford. The US have almost surrounded Iran. There are US troops in several countries in that area and the Persian Gulf is probably full of carriers. Now tell me: who is threatening who? Are there Iranian troops in Canada and Mexico? Iran is one of the few countries that was not attacked by the US - yet, and you wonder that Iran is trying to get Nukes? What else should they do? Again, Iran has no reason to attack Israel. Why should they? Iran uses Israel to detract from their domestic policies. A war is not in their interest. The comparison Iran and Nazi-Germany is historically nonsense. You can't use the failed appeasement politics of the 1930s as an excuse to start wars against all sorts of countries today, just because you feel "threatened".

With their vast resources the US can not only just destroy Iran's nuclear sites but the entire Iranian military machine .. missiles, airforce, navy, heavy damage to ground forces and it can all be done using air power. That will mean Iran is no military threat to anybody for the next twenty years. Assuming Israel is capable of doing something to stop the nuclear program it can't do that. Destroy the Iranian conventional military in the process and it will certainly mean the only way Iran can hit back at Israel is through support for terrorists and we can handle that. Iran will certainly make trouble for everybody in the region if attacked The US has to ask itself though do they want to deal with the fallout from an operation that smashes the Iranian military and their nuclear weapons program now or do we want to wait till they have the nukes and then start to bully the entire Gulf. What happens when Iran develops missiles that can hit mainland America? Give them nukes and missiles that can hit America and you have a new Cold War on your hands and there is no way even the US is going to go after a nuclear armed Iran. So long term its in America's interests to do something to stop Iran getting nukes. Look 5 - 10 years into the future when making decisions not at the situation in 2011 / 2012 becuse by then if nothings done Iran will be a global power. Also trying to topple the ayatollahs is risky because we really have no idea who would step into replace them, it could be some radical government. First let me say to all the people hyping war with Iran..WAKE UP!! Iran is not Iraq and they are not Hezbollah. "Mutually Assured Destruction" doesn't and cannot work when one or more of the Countries involved believe it is "legitimate" to use suicide bombers.
