Jewish state with 2011 borders, expansion of construction projects in Yehuda & Shomron, part of the God given land of the Jewish people. Recognized and accepted by every religion in the world. No Jews in Arab countries, no Arabs in Israel. Get out, stay out, go on your own.

IABFT Not only is the elephant in the room admitted to, the elephant is named. The arabs have no desire for peace, with Israel or anyone else. In the words of Golda Meir: "There will be peace with the arabs when they love their children more than they hate us".
6. Legally, of course, despite the fact that some don't like...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.03.11)
...to hear it, the San Remo Conference, 1920, assigned the entire land mass between the Jordan River and the Sea to the Jewish people. This was reiterated by the League of Nations, 1922, and incorporated into the UN Charter, Article 80, which prohibits the UN to tamper with the League of Nations decisions related to the matter discussed. Thus, since legally the nation-state of the Jewish people is engaged in the construction of housing on public land to house the residents of Israel, Arabs and Jews alike, it is not anyone's business to tell the Jews where to build in their own homeland. Indeed, such demands of Jews, only because they are Jewish, to refrain from residing anywhere on earth, and especially in villages, towns and city neighborhoods of their homeland amount to a form of applied racism, anti-Jewish racism, that must cease at once!!
7. There is no sense in getting worked up about this

8. Logic would dictate
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (11.03.11)
That our 2% of the population - we should have oh 2% of the land. That is not the case - we have 0.07% of the land and the Arabs hate that fact and want us to have no land whatsoever. No the answer is that the Arabs which have 99.93% need to take their colonists back to their own lands and leave ours.
9. Appeasment approach is long time ago due

The long you wait the reconciliation is more unapproachable as radicalization of Arab World continue and the need to clean the table and bring the nacked truth on it , act accordelly for the JUSTICE no more cutting corners.
10. What a one-sided and biased article this is
christianpalestinian ,   hong kong   (11.03.11)
You don't even want to return 22% of historic Palestine back to the occupied Palestinian people. How would any Palestinian accept anything less?
11. The Land of Israel
Brod ,   USA   (11.03.11)
Israel must protect and defend the Land of Israel-Judea and Samaria from any usurpers and occupiers. It does not matter what the world of the dark forces say. What matters is that the Land of Israel is GOD-GIVEN and GOD-RESTORED to the Nation of Israel as GOD'S Everlasting Covenant to Israel. The Land of Israel belongs to Israel since ancient time. NO mortals should dare tamper with Divine Providence pertaining to the ownership of the Land of Israel. Israel must fight to defend every inch of the Land of Israel from Islamist-Jihadist usurpers and occupiers. The world should stop being fooled by the Islamist-Jihadist world. They should see Pat Condell's Youtube commentary called "The great Palestinian lie."
12. What a load of tripe.
Michael Steiner ,   Bahrain   (11.03.11)
Mr. Abbas is not the tacitly condoning Palestinian extremists ripping out other people's olive trees. Mr. Abbas is not the one who's sitting on his hands while his people vandalize other communities' places of worship. Mr. Abbas is not the one authorizing and encouraging construction all over plots whose legal ownership is--at best--under dispute. As far as the rehashing of the same tired old arguments, even if they are true--which many are--it is quite inevitable that we will eventually indeed have two states west of Jordan, regardless of all the huffing and puffing.
13. The biggest Hypocrite & a Liar

How can the world believe even a word uttered by Abb-ass.Does he think we are all fools to believe in his peaceful efforts. The childrens school text books should be offered to all the peace loving countries to prove to the world how much hatered is taugt in schools.
14. but doesn't that mean abbas gives up j'lem?

Abu Boo Boo is such a pathetic, disorganized and ineffectual putz, for a short while I was under the impresssion that he was an Israeli polititurd, rather than a so called Palestinian polititurd. Life goes on.
17. What a one-sided and biased article
M v H ,   Amsterdam, NL   (11.03.11)
There is no such thing as historic Palestine. As late as 1946, Palestine meant Jewish Palestine, and a Palestinian was a Jew. Israel has never been under Palestinian rule, neither Jewish nor Muslim. It was under Ottoman rule until from 1516 to 1917, then a British protectorate, and since 1947, an independent state. Palestine was nearly empty of population during Turkish rule, although a very small number of Jews have always lived in Israel. A very small number of Arabs also lived in Israel during the Turkish period (the Ottomans did not like Arabs and were unkind to them). Many other very small groups (Georgian Christians, Armenian Christians, Circassian Muslims, etc) also lived in Israel. Jewish immigration stated in 1840, but gained traction in the 1890s. Arabs followed, drawn by new opportunities for work. There was no independent rule anywhere in the region since the Hasmonean kingdom, which fell in the year 64 of the common era until 1947. There is no such thing as historic Palestine.
18. Palestine Israel, 2 States, 1 Country
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.03.11)
...is the only solution now, Jews get to build, Arabs get to vote, true democracy.
19. Abbas land grab
Shemtov ,   Montréal, Canada   (11.03.11)
Israel should continue to develop. No arab country will rise within Israel. They are dreaming in technicolor! Let them bark! Am Israel Hai!!!
20. To Christian Palestinian, #10
Ben-Africa   (11.03.11)
You've just shown your true color. 22% of the region known as Palestine (approx. 100,000 km2) is 47's armistice lines...in a few words Israel. Almost 3/4 is Jordan (the plastic state). The word historic is a blatant lie, invented during the cold war, in the late fifties, by KGB and Egyptian MI; they also created Al Fatah and have chosen a clumsy terrorist, from the Muslim Brotherhood, called Arafat to lead it. Stop talking crap, go to Jordan and enjoy your arab winter.
21. Give an inch; they want a mile
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.03.11)
Sorry, certain things simply cannot be undone. That would include a return to the 1967 borders or 1947 partition plan. Too bad. Can't put toothpaste back into the tube.
22. I looked this up....
Vlad   (11.03.11)
Calic is right about the Palestinians claiming the "1947 borders". The Palestinians consider any place outside those borders "occupied territory", and are preparing to claim them too.
23. There is no hope in avoiding this war.
JPoL   (11.03.11)
The Mullahs believe they’re following gods order, and nothing man says will dissuade them. The only thing man can do is destroy them. Short of that, the form of terrorism that awaits the world will make 9/11 look like a bubble popping.
24. Against Our USA as a Christian Nation!
American Jew ,   New Jersey, USA   (11.03.11)
This Op-ed is intentionally misleading to excite our many active extremist Nuts! For example, you know very well that our USA & most others are not even considering Israel to be 9 miles wide in any 2-state solution. This Op-ed is despicable, reveals ur true intentions and erodes support 4Israel which is self-destructive ... Idiots!!!
25. Resp. to #10 : Doctored Palestenian history
Avram Goldsmith ,   Toronto, Canada   (11.03.11)
Jordan compromise 70% from designated Israel teritory which was gave by British Mandad to form an artificial Arab country called Jordan. In 1948 the destituated propety of jews from Arab countries overpass 10 times Israel size and financial value estimated at 3.7 billion dollars. Israel offer numerous time opportunity to live in peace with you but you refused and chosed the path of selfdistruction wrapped in your fabric of lies, history distorsions and denial.
26. Christian Palestinian # 10
Arnold ,   Canada   (11.03.11)
Have you ever seen a copy of the original Roman map of Palestine. Aside from the lands of UN partition Palestine included Jordon, parts of Syria, and parts of Lebanon. Palestine was a much larger area of land. But since the Romans left Palestine it has been carved up and borders have changed several times. Modern Israel and Palestine need to either negotiate the final borders or continue to wage war.
27. It is a proven fact that pre-'67 lines
BEN JABO ,   ISRA EL   (11.03.11)
didn't work, no use to try them again
28. #10 Christian- HISTORIC???
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (11.03.11)
Then explain why Palestine is NOT mentioned in your Koran, nor is Jerusalem for that matter ? You never had a Capital City of your own or Independent rulers, not even a few coins that you minted for yourselves The plain and simple fact is that an Independent nation by the name of Palestine never, ever existed Palestine was a fiction created by Rome, which you are foolish enough to believe actually existed Therefore, you cannot claim what you never had in the first place
29. The scariest thing of all...
Steve   (11.03.11)
Tzipora Livni (Kadima) supports this form of national suicide / surrender described in this piece. She nearly became Israel's prime minister in the last elections. That is frightening.
30. Michael #12
Steve   (11.03.11)
There is no dispute over the legal ownership of plots in Israel - the land belongs to the Jews - any more than there is dispute over the ownership of plots in the Islamic Kingdom of Bahrain.
