14. To: No. 8
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.09.11)
Stick around and watch what we can do. Besides, once Judea and Samaria are annexed, all its Jordanian citizens get repatriated. This isn't a game to us. "Never Again" means precisely that. Since your interpretation of history rests largely on your magic 8-ball, you do not realize this. We aren't going anywhere, and we do not want to share our birthright, either. Get used to the idea. It isn't going to change. The ersatz "Palestinians" are a cancer in our midst. Cancers get excised. Deal with it.
15. To: Brotifish at No. 9
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.09.11)
Oh, we learned that in 1973. It was not until Israel had completely surrounded the Egyptian Third Army, cut its supply lines, and crossed the Suez Canal that the United States decided to send needed spare parts. We have spent the better part since then in making sure that we would never again be dependent upon a fickle ally such as the United States. If Obama does something spectacularly stupid in the run-up to the election year, Congress will cut off all funding to the United Nations, and kick them out of the United States, and then it will little matter what the United Nations does. Their shelf life -- given the financial woes throughout the world -- would be a matter of weeks, perhaps months. And Obama would be impeached.
16. It must be very clear to any serious observer: Any attempt
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (11.09.11)
to set up a state in the disputed territories contradicts, legally, the UN Charter, and specifically, Article 80 of the Charter. Any change in the designation of this part of the country must be made, according to the UN Charter, Article 80, with the consent of the only people whose "national home" this part of the country is recognized as such by the United Nations: The Jewish people. The background is fairly simple: The Balfour Declaration, 1917, assigned "Palestine" to become the "national home for the Jewish people". "Palestine", being the name of a geographic region, consisted of today's Jordan-Israel-WestBank-Gaza. The San Remo Conference, 1920, incorporated the Balfour Declaration into its decisions thus ensuring that legally "Palestine" is the "national home of the Jewish people" and only that of the Jewish people. The British then handed over 77% of "Palestine" to the Arabs, leaving only 23% of the territory to the Jewish people, consisting of present day Israel-WestBank-Gaza. The larger part of the territory that was renamed "TransJordan" is called now "Jordan". And, the United Nations, in its Article 80 of the Charter, 1945, accepted the League of Nations decisions. Thus, the region now in dispute is, legally, the "national home of the Jewish people", directly and indirectly controlled by the nation-sate of the Jewish people, Israel, without whose consent no changes may be made to this territory.
17. #2, all the best and happy days!
Borislava ,   Sofia, Bulgaria   (11.09.11)
18. three state solution
observer   (11.09.11)
Israel has still got only the second biggest Jewish community - lagging behind the United States. two-thirds of the diaspora are not orthodox, and it make sense that those Jews must be close their world G-d; the dollar and the Eternal G-d in the other world; G-d beloved chosen. the THIRD STATE. A solution for Haredim's & Natanyahu's problem with emigrants reform American Jews and messianic Jews.
19. #8 - you can only vote to separate countries...
William ,   Israel   (11.09.11)
not combine them. The UN Charter is very strict on not being able to encroach on the sovereignty of member States. Israel is a sovereign State, "Palestine" is non-existent. So the future is pretty well-known. Though you lie (again) in claiming that Jews want all of the land even though they offered to split it dozens of times in 63 years. The sticking point is that Jews want to continue to live, and Arabs just don't accept that. Big difference, which even a tiny brain should have picked up.
20. #18 OBSERVE ONE FACT
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (11.09.11)
MESSIANIC JEWS ARE NOT JEWSThey are Christian's!! Reform Jews are Jews!! Haredim are most certainly Jews !!
21. #8 Steve Benassi, try it for yourself
BEN JABO   (11.09.11)

22. #13 SJOERD RUURD VDV
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (11.09.11)
Allow me to clue you in as to what the UN can and can't do GENERAL ASSEMBLY “The General Assembly does not have the authority to create binding law by a simple vote. It is not a global legislature, just as the UN is not a world government. Its resolutions are symbolic. Never mind the fact that the UN charter never gives the General Assembly such authority”
