1. 'Certain chances for dialogue'
solomon ,   bklyn   (11.08.11)
"it is precisely now that certain chances for the renewal of dialogue...have begun to appear," WHAT 'certain chances'? There are none, zilch, zero. The only 'dialogue' Iran wants is the kind that delays any action against them. They really only want a monologue: theirs. The more the Russians talk about dialogue, the less there is.
2. FINALLY THE KING IS NAKED ! ( End )
Mark ,   T.a. Israel   (11.08.11)
3. So What IS The Definition Of A SMOKING GUN ?
(11.08.11)
4. Russia wants the "fabricated and baseless" allegations
Harry Wright ,   UK   (11.08.11)
to be proven as the truth when Iran gets the bomb. What negotiations are the Russians talking about??? Would they have us believe that Iran will deny itself the bomb at this ninety ninth hour after they have sunk trillions of dollars into the project. Russia has carved itself a place in history as having contributed immensely to world insecurity by assisting Iran with the atomic bomb. God alone knows how much blood they will have on their hands in the future by bringing this disaster on the world. I call on Russia to undo what they have done and stop demanding more time for the completion of the project.
5. No report was needed
Maurice ,   Los Angeles, USA   (11.08.11)
Was there ever any doubt? Of course Russia and Pakistan are helping Iran. Russia out of greed and to stick to the US and Pakistan out of ideology. I'm afraid that there is no other solution than a military one. The alternative would be nuclear proliferation in the region and world war III.
6. IAEA Report
Canadian lawyer ,   Toronto   (11.08.11)
Anyone who believes Iranian claims that their nuclear program is for purely "peaceful purposes" is delusional. Anyone who believes that sanctions will work against Iran is burying his head in the sand. Anyone who believes that a nuclear Iran would be amenable to "deterrence" in the same way as the Soviet Union is totally clueless about the mullahs' absolute commitment to an extremist, radical apocalyptic theology. Anyone who believes that a nuclear Iran would not be a clear and present existential danger not just to Israel but to all of Western civilization is beyond redemption. Time for the West to wake up and act before it is too late.
7. gas up the jets, choppers and feed the pilots
real ,   usa   (11.08.11)
Its go time. Hit em iDF and hit em hard. Answer everyone of their BS threats with force not words. The PM's of the past promised israel would not tolerate nukes in the hands of muslims and you must stand by your words.
8. This is just Hype
Dovy ,   Toronto   (11.08.11)
Don't you think that if they really were working on nuclear weapons for the past 8 years the information would have been revealed long ago?! The information is merely rehashing what they have had in the past. Everyone knows that any production of nuclear energy involves similar processes as the development of nuclear weapons., This is all recycled old and useless news. Period.
9. Yes, Iran has been so secretive.
nibor ,   israel   (11.08.11)
Who would have known?

12. Our Sanctions
Jimmy Martin ,   Empi USA   (11.08.11)
US will likely up sanctions ?? Yes - our sanctions are parked on Air Bases all over the world. Our heavy sanctions will be taking off from United States Bases and Diego Garcia among others.
13. Thanks, Sherlock Holmes
Falafelis ,   Montreal, Canada   (11.08.11)
Like we didn't know this before
14. #6, #7 Easy to give such advice from far away...
Eric ,   Toronto   (11.08.11)
If israel attacks Iran, chances are Israel wil win, but it is just as sure that hundreds, if not thousands, of Israelis will also die due to rockets attacks from Iran and the hezbollah and hamas terrorit groups. I doubt very much you would advice IDF to attack if you were living in Israel!
15. Ask yourself this.
John Prophet   (11.08.11)
Israel bombed Iraq, Israel bombed Syria how then can Israel now ignore Iran? Answer. They can’t!
16. But, but, Halevy said Iran less dangerous than haredim!
m   (11.08.11)
Doesn't he know? He was the head of he Mossad, there must be a mistake in the report. Or maybe Halevy can ask Ahmadi just to nuke the haredi? Pathetic isn't, the hatred inside against each other, it blinds.
17. THE LOGIC BEHIND IAEA'S REPORT
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (11.08.11)
Is more to do with drumming up support for further sanctions on Iran and has hardly got anything to do with any USA's intention to attack Iran.Whilst Iran prepares itself for any eventualities, many European countries are going through economic crisis and looking for opening in Iran to increase their business. In order to divert attention, the known lobby in USA has remained quite active to also discourage these countries from approaching Iran.
18. How come the entire world hate Iran?
Jorge ,   Israel/USA/Argentina   (11.08.11)
19. Eric # 14
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (11.08.11)
The problem is that many more than that will die if someone does not stop Iran. Obama isn't going to do it. It's an ugly situation either way.
20. Jimmy Martin
Jane   (11.08.11)

21. 18
(11.09.11)
What a very stupid question.
22. The illogic behind Mahmood in the UK
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (11.09.11)
Iran lovers and Muslim excuse-makers for Iranian fascism simply love to ignore the fact that a fascist, racist, oppressive regime wants nuclear weapons. Mahmood sits nice and cozy in his freedom-of-religion and freedom-of-speech adopted land of Great Britain. Mahmood pretends that the problem is not the Iranians who exhort their masses to scream "death to America", but rather it's America that is at fault. Funny, Mahmood, but you never see 200,000 Americans take to the streets and chant "death to Iran" do you? Of course not. That's because you want to give nukes to Iran. The rest of the civilized world doesn't. Why don't you try moving back to Iran and post talkbacks on Iranian websites? Oh right...that's because the Iranians don't allow dialog, nor do they allow the freedoms you have in the UK. The faster Iran is deprived of nuclear capability, the safer we will all be. Nobody believes Israel would use nukes as a first strike. But a LOT of people sure do believe that Iran would.
23. The usual suspects
Peter   (11.09.11)
are preparing the stage for the next war.I still remember Colin Powell and his famous Power Point show in Security Council where he desperately tried to convince the members that Iraq is going to blow up the whole world or is shortly before.Who will it be this time and what kind of a show will we see?I expect something more exciting not such a crap Powell offered us last time
24. Just because it "repeats Zionist accusations"
William ,   Israel   (11.09.11)
doesn't mean it's untrue!
25. #8 - are triggering devices part of "nuke energy"?
William ,   Israel   (11.09.11)
not really. Neither are efforts to purify uranium to 20%. But nuke weapons development does include those tasks, which you're right, was revealed a long time ago to the world, who turned a blind eye to Iran. The reason this is re-presented to the world is because the threat of Iran nukes is even closer, and because Baradei is not running the IAEA and hiding information anymore.
26. Not optimistic for a bright world future
Scott ,   Australia   (11.09.11)
One way or another. There is so much distrust and now only to grow after this. Something has gotta give. And it will. We can talk crap here all day and it wont change a thing. When it happens - we can only hope that the West's enemies are annihilated and that the planet will be still livable after the shooting stops. Even if Iran was reduced , the problem remains of all the fanatics who now reside in Europe, perhaps starting a jihad in sympathy. Massive social unrest and terror - make Beirut look like a holiday camp.
27. #14 - Maybe you could be troubled
Canadian lawyer ,   Toronto   (11.09.11)
to actually read my post. I wasn't counselling the IDF to attack Iran. That's for Israel t decide. I was suggesting that the West (i.e. the US) take this on. As for your ludicrous suggestion that only Israelis are competent to express an opinion - and that's all it is, an opinion - no one - not I , nor you - has all the facts necessary to make a competent decision of this magnitude. My guess is that only a handful of people do - e.g. the US President, the Israeli PM, the heads of the CIA and other intelligence organizations. The rest of us are just voyeurs in this debate.
28. And on the same day
Jeesh Daram   (11.09.11)
