Joe ,   Canada   (11.09.11)
Strangling quickly the economic life out of the Ayatollahs hands with an oil embargo might work. But both the West &Japan, China & Russia are not likely to participate in that option. Too much home repercussions for politicians to face with courage.

5. CONSULTING RUSSIAN.............."...
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (11.09.11)
Within a span of a day after the release of so-called report by this corrupted Japanese chief heading IAEA,it is obvious that USA had already predicted the Russian displeasure and had kept itself ready to consult them immediately upon publication of this report. If the report so produced was genuine,USA would have taken it's own time to absorb the bizarre findings before bothering to consult the Russians.Next will be the Chinese,of course and later on the rhetoric will continue depending on the Russian reaction. The USA has made it too clear of it's own conspiracy this time.It won't fare well for for the allies as well.

tombaka ,   Poinciana, Florida   (11.09.11)
It's good that idiot is getting permission from Iran's allies as to how to sanction Iran. What a brilliant move. How long have we been sanctioning Iran and they get closer and closer to the bomb? No more tv for you Iran after 7!!!! Our ignorance will destroy us all.
11. Good Lord! Obama continues with his nauseating babble.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (11.10.11)
while Russia has taken over from ElBaredei as Iran's protector: "too much pressure on Tehran is counterproductive" and we know so well that too little or no pressure is so productive, they have been able to just about complete their nuclear program. The whole idea is to allow Iran to be very productive.
12. Anybody knows what's happening with Terry from Eilat?

Why is he not posting anymore???
13. Too late for snctions that obviously don't work anyway..
Malone ,   Hfx   (11.10.11)
Does obama ever get tired at being ridiculed and laughed at by Iran?Or does his ego not allow that...he has dragged the USA into the abyss with his appeasing and his naive policies..it's too late for sanctions,stupid...2012 can't come soon enough, for the USA and the world..
14. Russia China should wake up to neighboring Nuclear Missiles
(11.10.11)
In spite of turning a blind eye to an Iranian power broking player in the middle east , an Iran armed with nuclear missiles will threaten and bully all the countries around it, and try and destabilize all surrounding and distant countries which it opposes for political or economic or cultural reasons threatening them ever more strongly and terrorising all internal opposition and freedom . Also assist the overturning of all governments that don't meet with its political approval. Russia and China should wake up to the threat that a nuclear armed Iran poses with regard to systems different from it or who differ to it. This is the 11th hour for very stiff sanctions lest a military option remains the only one on the table. The 16 years of appeasement by Russia and China only serves to illustrate their foreign policy naivete as suggested negotiations in the past to this point have failed miserably to stop or even uncover the extent of nuclear werapons development. The middle east is already a tinder box of political instabilities. Allowing Iran to further destabilize its surrounding countries is suicidal. If no sanctions are agreed the 12 O'clock strike of the military option will be inevitable. Foot dragging uncertainty with yet more negotiations will only make the eventual outcome more painful for the world and will set an extremely poor example for failed and terrorist states all over the world.
