Daniel ,   Israel   (11.10.11)
2. They were saying like five years ago that Iran was 2-3 years
tj ,   sa/usa   (11.10.11)
They were saying like five years ago that Iran was 2-3 years away from the bomb
3. It won't happen when there is no element
Israeli 2   (11.10.11)
of surprise. It is just pressuring Iran to hopefully do away with its program or agree to international terms. Anything that leaks out to a news source is just a divergence for something else.
4. umm
jacob ,   Encino, CA   (11.10.11)
I don't think they are scared of you.
5. Ho,Ho,Ho, Merry Christmas to one and all !!

7. Funny...:)
Alan ,   UK   (11.10.11)
So let me get this straight..A UK tabloid paper reveals a plan for a military strike on Iran by Israel to an Israeli paper??? Yeah, right..Tell us another Joke..lol..The whole media hype just fizzled..There'll be NO UN sanctions and NO war as the Russians and Chinese are tired of playing this sick game..Get use to it...Israel plant news in foreign media all she likes, it won't change anything..
8. Attacking Iran
Robert ,   Australia   (11.10.11)
Of course there would be an element of surprise as Israel has been threatening to attack Iran since living memory. If they actually attack it would be the surprise of the century. It would however, be a catastophic mistake.
9. Re: (3) It won't happen
Ariel ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (11.10.11)
That's what they all think. So, if there's an attack, it would be a surprise, wouldn't it? On the other hand. Also before Cast Lead (war on Gaza after non-stop rocket firing on Israel), the Gazans were warned that it wouldn't be further tolerated and steps would be taken...
10. REQUEST A CONVENIENT TIME !!
DAVID ,   JUDEA   (11.10.11)
For sure it would be a matter of courtesy , good manners and being political correct , to send a request to the Iranians, to ask them what date and time of day an attack would be convenient for them. Also make sure to send them a detailed plan of attack, because we do not want to leave them in the dark and they would miss the change to prepare for such an attack. That way the world media can set up cameras for a live broadcast, insuring high ratings and increased revenues through advertising.

Ehoop ,   UK   (11.10.11)
The "sick game", as you put it, is the one that the Russians and Chinese are playing in protecting the Iranian regime from sanctions. That regime, from Khomenei (that's the 1980s) onwards, has threatened to eradicate Israel and drag the world into conflict. With their new bomb - or old ones from the FSSU - and their rocketry ready to go and ongoing acts of terrorism, there is every reason to stop them
12. I know for a fact Martians will land in Jerusalem next month
zionist forever   (11.10.11)
This Daily Mail article is all speculation. After this IAEA report the world expects Israel will do attack Iran so just about every media source from Haaretz - the Daily Mail is telling us all that its going to happen and now they are even speculating the month. Next thing you know we will be reading a newspaper article telling us the exact date and time this attack. Assuming there was going to be an attack the only people who would know about it would be Bibi, the cabinet and a tiny handful of senior military officers. This is just a headline grabbing, newspaper selling unconfirmed story.
13. IT IS VERY POSSIBLE
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (11.10.11)
That the strike was planned after all but something went wrong somewhere.Since there was immediate leakage of sensitive information to the media now all sorts of rumours have started floating around. Each media source enjoys to reflect something new. That is how it has been for the last two weeks or so. Someone, somewhere is dragging USA into it...........................and one can observe the reluctancy on the part of USA.
14. as long as coward Barak is DM,Iran has nothing to worry
chaim.s ,   54st brooklyn ny   (11.10.11)
15. #3 difficult to hide
Robert ,   USA   (11.10.11)
It is difficult to hide the major preparations a strike on Iran requires, likely those preparations are the primary source of the media speculations -- and Iran's edginess. But though everyone may know it's coming, the exact timing and nature of the strike WILL be a surprise, and hopefully an effective one. It seems to me that striking before the US removes all of its troops and equipment from Iraq and as the "no fly zone" there ends makes sense, so a strike before the end of the calendar year might be the best time.
16. nonsense
Eli ,   USA   (11.10.11)
All of these reports are just that, and will always be just that. The US is more likely to impose oil and gas sanctions on Iran before allowing Israel to attack. Israel can't afford to attack Iran either. You would be talking thousands of dead civilians for only a temporary achievement which would make it even harder to achieve a permanent end to Iran's nuclear program. The reports do serve a useful function for Israel though - Israel can't afford to let this issue fall off of the international priority list.
17. Foreign sources
Brod ,   USA   (11.10.11)
This shows that there is a leaker that leaks out classified information to foreign sources. This is helping the enemy and sabotaging Israel's effort in defending itself from a mega Holocaust. Israel needs to stamp out the leak.
18. the mossad has been leaking to the uk media for 50yrs
real ,   usa   (11.10.11)
This is part of their psyco warfare. They use their people in the uk media to spread fear into the minds of the iranians. They used to print obituaries in lebanese papers for terrorists that were still a live to sow fear into them. They smeared vananus credibility in the uk papers . This is a very important part of what the mossad does. They are doing it to see what type of reaction they get from the world and the iranians which helps them to strategize for whatever they may or may not do. Very good work Mossad, keep it up
19. Who is daddy?
Nour ,   One State   (11.10.11)
It sure as hell isnt the Apartheid Entity. I cant wait until that entity is disolved. Please do attack Iran for Gods sake. Bye bye.
20. To: No. 13
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.10.11)
So why are you hiding in the U.K. instead of manning the ramparts in Iran? Hmm? Cowardice?
21. To: No. 19
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.10.11)
I hope you are very, very patient. Israel is going nowhere. On the other hand, you are. I suggest you find a good realtor in Amman or Gaza City. Bye bye.
22. Next month
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (11.10.11)
Will Iran be notified if there is a change ?.
23. Brod. I thought there was no leak...
Persian CAT   (11.10.11)
that you didn't like! This one is for you kid. Let's see how you'd "stamp it out". Whatever you do, don't use your tongue again.
24. Ufffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.
Salma ,   Palestine   (11.10.11)
How many times have we heard this boring Symphony ?! @ yalla , let the war begin , pleaaase !
25. London "Intelligence Chiefs"
Shlomo ,   USA   (11.10.11)
You only have to look around London to see that there is no "intelligence". My British friends call London "Little Pakistan".
26. To Salma and all the other Palestinians
Michelle ,   Haifa, Israel   (11.10.11)
Of course you want the war to begin. You are taught from age 0 to celebrate violence and shun rational thought. Your culture is a culture of death and suffering, that is what brings you joy. Not education, not peace, not enlightenment, but BLOOD and CARNAGE and "MARTYRDOM" is what you people thirst for. You make me sick, Salma, and you just reinforce the stereotype of your people. Maybe if you were living somewhere other than an advanced Western democracy such as Israel (Palestine doesn't exist), you wouldn't be so quick to criticize.
27. why announce it?
Queen Mary ,   Scotland   (11.10.11)
If Israel, U.S. and Britain really plan to strike, why announce it around the world?? The military wisdom teaches that best strikes are the ones that have the element of surprise. Unless they are playing the sly way to make Iran think: if we announced then we dont plan to strike...
28. timing
ulli ,   Germany   (11.10.11)
Could I ask the Daily Mail and everybody involved for a more convenient date - like not "by Christmas" when I want to visit Israel ....?
29. Time is running out
Paul ,   Miami, USA   (11.10.11)
You guys better develop the Gazan and Lebanese gas fields quickly.
30. UK''S DAILY MAIL.
SJOERD RUURD VDV ,   MULTIVERSE   (11.10.11)
THAT MESSAGE IN THAT NEWSPAPER IS PURE HATE/WAR-MONGERING.
