Does the U.S. really expect the Emirates and Saudi Arabia to go to war against Iran? Iran has a 75.000.000 population. No way for the Arabs! The only thing I can imagine is, that the Arabs are advancing the payments to buy all the weapons, the U.S. will need to go to war with Iran. Everything else is suicidal! I don't have a high opinion on Obama, but I cannot believe, that they are delivering more and more weapons to a region which is so fragile.

It is in the interest of Israel and the USA to contain Iran. If you think for one second that the UAE would not be involved in a conflict against Iran then you need to look at the entire picture. The US has bases in the UAE so in theory if Israel attacks Iran the UAE will come under attack by Iran and it needs the capability to strike back. The UAE has a more powerful airforce than the Iranian airforce and this will give them a bigger edge. The Arab governments don't care about Israel. They would love to have relations with Israel so this is why the Palestinian-Israeli conflict has to be settled so they can shut there people up.
