Missile defense systems for passenger jets is today a gimik but give it another 5-10 years and I think we will see all major airlines installing these things and eventually it will probably be a legal standard to fit missile defenses to passenger aircraft. Once C Music is on all ELAL planes and everybody knows it then we will probably see other airlines like United wanting to fit it on their planes as well. As there are very few non Israeli companies if there are any others making systems like this then all the airlines will have to buy Israeli until there is more competition. If all the airlines are buying C Music then it means more profit for Elbit and more tax money for the government which can be used to offset the ELAL subsidy.

Israel is democratic and gives Arabs full civil rights, including the vote. The PA has nominal democratic institutions but is not actually a democracy, and Hamas is opposed in principle to democracy. So I take it that your proposal is that Israel should annex all of Judea, Samaria and Gaza so as to extend democracy and the rule of law to them?
