1. WISHFUL THINKING !!!!!! Sanctions will
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (11.14.11)
NOT hinder Iran to go nuclear, it is FAR too late for sanctions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. Very smart; get the U.S.A. to handle it
Ahava   (11.14.11)
They are pulled their troops out of Iraq; leave them there and put them right over the border to fight in Iran. Israel should not have to fight this fight. The U.S.A. is already there with boots on the ground.
3. The risk of an arab state in Judea outweighs our support for
Hippocrates ,   Earth   (11.14.11)
British colonial empire-approved establishment of the tiny hashemite families' monarchy. The 80% population of palestinians there on 78% of the mandate are proof positive of the inevitability of the palestinian state there. even the crown prince, whose next in line to be king is a palestinian through his mothers side. I agree with Liberman about 99% o the time, but he needs to be informed on this topic a bit more. and its not as if the arabs in judea will ALSO have a state, more like they will now be citizens of Jordan, so the 2 state solution within Israel will be off the picture.
4. don't act coy now.
Bad assed Jew. ,   Y   (11.14.11)
We all know Iran will be attacked, why act as though it weren't an Israeli concern? I do like the suggestion of having France install her soldiers ( LOL Like that's gonna happen, girlies might be more effective.) We all know the french run like hell from a fight.
5. Man oh man
Gideon Reader   (11.14.11)
Avigdor. Bubbeleh. The idea of "Jordan is palestine" is NOT to give Jorday rule over both sides of the river. It is pretty simple, really. EAST of the River is Jordan, the de facto State of Palestine as envisioned by ALL of the founding agreements, including swiping trans Jorday from the hajazi arabs and giving it to the current King's Saba. OY. maybe a week off, noodeling through one or two history books would not be too bad of an idea.
6. BB time to send the former bouncer back to Moldavia
Haim ,   Israel   (11.14.11)
Liberman the National Embarassment.
7. #1 German
Bad assed Jew. ,   United States   (11.14.11)
care to place a wager on that, say, your home? Iran will be attacked, it's just a matter of when, what time and by whom. ( Most like a coalition of allied forces, like any battle involving our allies ) Meanwhile, we love reading about the German payback of muslims. bet that steams your tea too, eh? Muslims aren't too popular in non muslim nations. Could it be their reputation for international terror that surrounds them? Or, their dancing in the streets, passing out candies after 3,000 innocent Americans ( and their children ) were massacred on 9-11?) Iran will be brought to her knees and her head chopped off not by allies but by her own people. Glad to see muslims die, wherever they are.
8. Sorry #2
HCQ ,   USA   (11.14.11)
Maybe the U.S. taxpayer is weary of doing all the heavy lifting and picking up the tab for being the world police. We're broke, all warred out and tired of being taken for granted and outright hated even. Need a cop, call the hedonists & nihilists in Europe.
9. Lieberman is right.
Beary White ,   Norway   (11.14.11)
I totally agree with mr Lieberman. There are powerful nations inthe world who can take over Iran. why should Israel always have to suffer for islamic moroness? The answer is cowardness form the 4 most powerful nations.
10. #7...I do NOT pity the Germans...LOL
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (11.14.11)
11. #8 agreed!
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (11.14.11)
US don't have the money to waste. Stop any funding of Israel, including NGOs. Stop funding the Fatah and Hamas terror groups directly and indirectly (including through the UN) and you will save about 1 billion you can use for AMERICANS. As for Iran: if you don't stop them they will get the Saudis and then you are in trouble. But hey, that is not our problem.
12. What is palestine?
vitenberg ,   France   (11.14.11)
Liebermann is right! Palestine is the roman name of Eretz-Israel. It was the name under british mandate till the illegal creation of hachemite Transjordan. To day we can say: Palestine = Israel+Jordan. All the semantic with palestine is history denaturation. Palestine doesn't exist to-day, palestine people doesn't exist It's just a poison against Israel. Oslo was a poison, and Peres a naive
13. Lieberman's sense of humour
Michael ,   Haifa   (11.14.11)
The roots of Lieberman's sense of humor appear to derive from his favorite comedians in his past - Stalin, Beria, the "pedicurists" of the Lubyanka and other unsavory Soviet autocrats.
14. Nr 7.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (11.14.11)
Mr Nr 1 seems to be from Bayern or Bavaria, an Slavic state in Southeastern todays Germany. Those People there are of Celtic and Slavic origin, not of Gotic German so, You did bite in stone I suppose as regarding Nr 10s answer. Arn.Sweden.
15. #5 Gideon Reader
Anna ,   Montreal, Canada   (11.14.11)
Lieberman is a politician. And his speech is designed to calm down King of Jordan who feels deeply vulnerable.
16. Existential Threat
Brod ,   USA   (11.14.11)
Lieberman cannot depend on the global community to act. Waiting for the latter would mean giving more time for the fanatics in Iran to complete their nukes. Fanatics behave like those Wahhabhist Saudi pilots- terrorists who destroyed the Twin Towers, destroyed part of the Pentagon Building, and murdered 3000 Americans in cold blood on 9/11. The world community has lost its balls and it cannot be depended upon. Israel would have to lead the world in defending Western Civilization from the existential threat.
17. I always knew Jordan is the country of Beduins.
Michael ,   California, USA   (11.14.11)
Petra is in Jordan and it was always a Beduin enclave. Also, isn't the Hashemite dynasty deriving from Beduin people? The desert of Jordan was quite empty and was "given" to Palestinians generously as a place to find compensation after the 1947 decision to carve out Israel. Beduins are ruling Jordan today and are tolerating Palestinians as settlers in their empty desert.
18. Imagine if we waited for "world" to destroy Hussein's nukes.
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.14.11)
I hope Lieberman is joking. Nothing is more certain than the fact that "the world" won't do anything meaningful to stop he Mad Mullahs from building nukes. Imagine if Israel had this same attitude towards Saddam Hussein's nukes. Clearly the Mad Mullahs must be stopped and only Israel can and is willing to do so.
19. ''ISRAELI'' LEADERS-SHIP AND YSRAEL BEITEINU PARTY.
SJOERD RUURD VDV ,   MULTIVERSE   (11.15.11)
IF MISTER A. LIEBERMAN MEANS WITH INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY THE UNO HE IS LESS OR MORE RIGHT IN THAT CASE.
