On the contrary, King Hussein should step IN--abolish the artificial entities called "Jordan" and "Syria" created to serve French and British interests, and rule both states under Jordanian law. This region was once all one Levantine entity (absent the coastal areas) and would be stronger for being one state again....and besides, we have a peace treaty with Jordan that could be grandfathered into the joint Syrian-Jordanian state.
