Yes, Barak is actually right, but he forgot to mention, that if Iran would be a responsible and reliable member of the world community, and wouldn't support terrorists, the world could have lived easier with it being nuclear. On the other side, the West, and especially USA has to understand, that it's claim to want to be the only superpower, which can dictate it's will to others and use force as it did in the past, is contrebuting to the resistance. Russia, i.e., does not want to let Iran become nuclear, but is facing encirclement by NATO, and does not want yet another US miliotary base there. Best.

Israel declared and I believe this is a very true statement. Nukes will destroy Israel not less than its enemies because no nuclear weapons can be used locally. Also, blowing up a nuclear plant cannot be localized. Israel resides in the region along with its enemies and will be involved in anything that will harm the region. If Israel got rid of her nukes it would not bring peace. It would bring destruction. There was plenty of justification for the United States of America to use nukes in WW2. It ended the war and savaed lives.

Let's get this straight. Israel is trying to line up as many nations as possible to sanction Iran - and build up justification to destroy Iran's nukes. So what does our genius Defense Minister do? He says if he was Iran, he'd build nukes too! Idiocy even by Barak's lower than a snake's belly standards. Why do we allow such creatures to rise to political power in Israel?

Israel is a democracy. Iran is a dictatorship. Israel, USA, UK , India and France are western democracies armed with nukes. Do these nations pose a threat to anyone? Have they threatened to wipe out an entire race of people and spread death and destruction and dictatorship to any country? The answer is a most resounding no. Russia, China, Pakistan and North Korea are dictatorships armed with nukes. With the exception for China, Russia, Pakistan and North Korea do pose a threat to the world population since they have indicated on many occassions their willingness to threaten other nations with nukes. North Korea and Pakistan spread nuclear technology to Moslem terrorists. North Korea has threatened to destroy South Korea. North Korea has even threatened Japan and the USA. The only reason why these nations haven't used any nukes is because countries like Israel, USA, UK, France and India constitute a counterforce to reckon with. Iran doesn't seek nukes because Israel has them. If that's the "argument" you are using, why did the Moslems of the Middle East kill and slaughter Jews for 1400 years and attack Israel before Israel acquired nukes? If nukes irritates Iran, why doesn't Iran threaten to destroy all nuclear powers? Instead Iran picks on Israel. Iran has stated on numerous occasions that it wants to destroy Israel since Iran believes Israel "has no right to exist" (as if we care what they think). It is obvious that Iran's problem is not Israeli nukes but the existence of Israel. Israeli nukes prevents Iran from destroying Israel. Iranian nukes would be a catastrophe to Israel, USA, Europe and the world. So the answer Ron is simple: Either Iran will give up their nuclear program or we will shut down their nuclear program and the entire Iranian nation - permanently. Iranians need to make a painful choice: Do Iranians want to live and accept Israel and other nations of the Middle East and extend a hand of peace and acceptance to everyone, or will Iran go down the path of hate and destruction? If Iran chooses the 2nd alternative, Iran will pay dearly to Israel and the USA. And quite honestly Ron: I'm getting really tired of people questioning Israel's right to having nukes. Our nukes are our guarantee for our survival - we hope we will never use them.
