32. #30 Why no name, ashamed?
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (11.18.11)
I checked, you should have before you posted "The Land of Israel is mentioned hundreds of times in the Torah by its names “Canaan” and/or “Israel”; other names such as Zion are mentioned many times more. The city of Jerusalem is mentioned 623 times in the Tanach by its name Jerusalem and is referred to myriads of times by other names." It sure doesn't mention Palestine in any shape manner or form, since the Romans didn't rename the land until 2000 years or so ago
33. Re #12 Mary of Bethany - I just noticed this
John ,   Alaska   (11.18.11)
I just now noticed the fact that with its current system, Israel can and does have her enemies ruling over her. This is _very_ disturbing. Please stop letting your enemies like MK Zoabi rule over you. Because right now, you're doing one of the things Ha"Shem warned you _not_ to do.

35. 31,32,34 do all Jews not read the Torah
observer ,   Egypt   (11.19.11)
Do NOT add to or subtract from the pure words of G-d in the Torah (Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32, Proverbs 30:5-6, Revelation 22:18-19, Galatians 1:6-12). I challenge the three of you to state where in the Torah of Moses Jerusalem is mentioned even once.
36. 31,32,34 in the Torah,

The city is not mentioned specifically in the Pentateuch. Melchizedek, the king of Salem, or Yere as Abraham called it, who was ''priest of God Most High'' (Genesis 14:18), maybe or may not be the monarch of Jerusalem. It WAS long before the priesthood was instituted! Why Abraham paid tithe (repeatedly) to the king of Salem if Abraham was recorded as owner of Hebron. If the bible were a logbook for recording real estate property could the bible have missed the house of G-d, the holiest of the holey and could not have the EXACT location and exact name that would be famous by it in the whole world. The term Zion has at least four meanings having to do with two different parts of Jerusalem, with Jerusalem itself, but also generally talking “about the people of Israel who viewed Jerusalem and the Temple as their religious center.” So while one hand holds Zion as a place, the other hand holds it as a people.

Your tactic of divorcing the children of Israel from the City of David, King of Israel is intellectually dishonest. But then, I have learned from your posts to expect intellectual dishonesty from you. You refer to Proverbs 30, part of the Writings, as authority to accept only the Torah. Aside from that rather obvious bit of intellectual dishonesty, your post appeals to the authority of Solomon, the JEW who RULED FROM JERUSALEM after his father, King David, another JEW, ruled from Jerusalem. Your appeal to Proverbs is an appeal to the person who built the JEWISH TEMPLE IN JERUSALEM. Further, you appeal to Revelation 22 for authority for your case, but Revelation 21 tells that even after the end of the Tribulation, Jerusalem will be inscribed with the names of the Twelve Tribes of Israel. The JEWISH connection to Jerusalem will NEVER GO AWAY, no matter how hard you try to make it do so. Also, you appeal to Galatians as an authority. This book was written by the man who gave a defense of Christianity (as the followers of Jesus were called Christians then) before the JEWISH leaders in Jerusalem, after visiting the Second Temple in Jerusalem, verifying that after the First Temple of the JEWS was destroyed, the JEWS did in fact build another. So, we have three answers to your challenges, made in response to your appeals to the books of Proverbs, Galatians and Revelation. Your own intellectual dishonesty betrayed you. In the future, dear observer, don't try to divorce Jerusalem from the Jews. You won't win.
