1. Will Merkel make good on her promise?
Israeli 2   (11.18.11)
No, but ISRAEL will because Israel is better at it. For Israel, It is like a walk in the park. It will be like Entebbe and the 1967 War all in one.
2. Iran nukes threaten Jewish dominance, period.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (11.18.11)
3. The Germans only want to SELL their
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (11.18.11)
crap to Iran...they will never ever do anything, to support Israel against it's enemies !
4. comment
E. G. Marsch ,   Nahariya   (11.18.11)
They never will. Forget it. Do we want to continue these useless criticisms and urgings until Iran has 50 bombs? Europe is a dead, putrefying civilization that does not have the will to live, instead clearly manifesting a death wish, a longing that Iran, or Muslim immigrants, or someone should just overwhelm them and put an end to the useless void of their lives. Get the Israeli air force and special forces in gear. Forget Panetta and Obama, too, and no time to wait--maybe--for a Repub.
5. EU can't. It is on a life support system
DT ,   TA Israel   (11.18.11)
and soon someone with sense will pull the plug and good riddance.
6. The world no longer sympathetic to Israel
stone ,   jerusalem   (11.18.11)
Israel has to face the facts: starting especially with the ruthless bombing of Gaza in Cast Lead, world sympathy towards Israel has dropped precipitously. Everything Bibi's government does (settlement construction, etc.) makes the world continue to lose patience with Israel. By now, most peoples around the world don't care so much about Iranian threats towards Israel, because honestly, they think maybe Israel deserves some agression back, after dishing out agression and violence to others. No, it's not antisemitism! It's just that eventually, lying bullies lose the sympathy of the other kids in the playground. You reap what you sow.... We pray for a new Israeli leadership, one that is TRULY interested in a 2-state solution, and is not stuck in paranoia and arrogance and the dead-end dream of a Greater Israel. A new Israeli leadership that welcomes the world's opinions and ideas, doesn't brand them all as antisemitic.
7. Not likely
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.18.11)
France and Germany do a thriving business with Iran in defiance of sanctions. It would be daylight madness to expect either Merkel or Sarkozy to take serious steps to enhance sanctions to which they apply only lip service. The time for sanctions is over. It's time for meaningful action -- which, predictably enough, the international community is leaving to Israel.
8. #6 Praying?
Objective Observer   (11.18.11)
1. You and your buddies are evidently praying for the destruction of Medinat Yisrael....very much in line with all the anti-Israeli leftist propaganda emanating in Israel and also just as prevalent elsewhere. 2. World opinion exclusively consists of bashing Israel because the world is trembling at the thought that oil production & distribution might be affected by Israel's actions against its deadly enemies...they are afraid of the repercussions to their economic well-being but COULDN'T care less as to whether Israel survives attacks from Iran and/or its proxies or from the ultra-peace loving Arabs in Gaza and equally peaceable Arab squatters on the West Bank. 3. Your handle "stone" is very well chosen...it truly reflects the wasteful and hard contents of that empty space between your ears; you are truly a blind and foolish putz!
9. EU/UNO.
SJOERD RUURD VDV ,   MULTIVERSE   (11.18.11)
THE EU MUST NOTHING IN THAT CASE. THE GA OT THE UNO HAS TO TRY TO SOLVE THAT ISSUE WITH IRAN WHICH ALSO HAS A UN-MEMBERSHIP.
10. We're talking about Europe. What do you expect?
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.19.11)
Europe will never do anything significant to stop the Mad Mullahs from building nuclear bombs. This is Europe we're talking about. European DNA, for the most part, calls for hostility towards Jews and appeasing tyrants. That is European history in a nutshell, and has been for about 2,000 years. Do you expect that to suddenly change?
11. Who said so, Jerzy Montag ??? ,...
split ,   US   (11.19.11)
You have created this mess by arming yourself with nukes and behaving like a bully, you deal with it. Iran have a long record as a good neighbor and a stable importer of Union's products. You on the other hand are nothing but problems,...
