1. I think I am going to be sick
Tony ,   brooklyn   (11.19.11)
It looks like Ramallah and Gaza will see IAF strikes soon. All this means is that rockets will soon be fired from Judea and Samaria by jihadists. Hopefully we can have fatah men flying off tall buildings without the aid of bungee cords like after the last election. Anything can happen when you get two psychotic groups like hamass and fatah together.
2. and Israel'll mekly agree to passage of Hamas goons thru
ab   (11.19.11)
its territory...Now they'll not be goons, but Untouchoubler Members of Pal Goverment
3. Fantastic
David ,   On this planet   (11.19.11)
Now, Israel should annex Judea and Samaria, Give the Arab squatters a choice to move to Gaza or Jordan. and let them establish their fantasy state in Gaza.... Next Israel should lift the blockade of the new Philistine state, and if they shoot one single rocket at us start pushing them into the sea,and put an end to their original wish to do it to us
4. palestinian unity government
yonatan silverman ,   tel aviv israel   (11.19.11)
Brazen malicious deceit is what characterizes the Palestinian Authority. If the new government sitting in Gaza will be a unity government it pre empts having elections. In any case a PA government sitting in Gaza will obvioisly be a Hamas unity government. It is a total oxymoron
5. one step onward 16 steps back
Jewishness ,   AMERICA THE BEAUTIUL   (11.19.11)
hamass is forcing the PA to fold, go back 4 years to the last intafata and resume from there. Kicking out the only THOMAS JEFFERSON the arabs have in FAYYAD, they are left with the governing "gaza circus clown car" filled with dozens of idiotic gazan storm troopers and other such horrors.
6. Oh, goodie!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.19.11)
I guess that means that we can ship all the West Bank ersatz "Palestinians" off to Gaza. We get to maintain Israel's fragile "peace" with Jordan. I really hope that Nour and Salma will find really nice slum apartments in Gaza City.
7. Next Government seated in Gaza?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (11.19.11)
So now Abu Mazen is showing his true colors by agree ing that the "Palestinian Government" will be in that cesspool of terror which abuses the human rights of its own people and still continues to fire rockets on Israeli town and settlements. Hamas' Charter calls for the destruction of Israel and they have proclaimed over and over that they will never recognize Israel's right to exist. This is the criminal entity which seeks UN recognition for statehood and whose application is supported by the the vast majority of members of the UN General Assembly. Should the General Assembly continue its support for the Palestinians it can only be seen that it is supporting terrorism and the destruction of Israel!
8. you are too weak Abbas don't you????

9. Why am I reminded of the scene.....
GideonReader   (11.19.11)
...where Val Kilmer, as Doc, steps off the porch with his hand behind his back, and says, "Ah'l be yore Huckleberry"? However in this case the hearty bakcslaps between those worthies of the PA and it's mirror image HAMAS savages are actually the seeking of spots appropriate for the insertion of a blade. The "pitgam" , "Ayn Gav Bli Pigyon" reigns supreme. Diana Ross NOT included.
10. Abbas is joining a banned terror organization?
Michael Redbourn ,   Arad Israel   (11.19.11)
This most likely bodes extremely well for Israel, but not for the majority of Arabs who want to stay in the West Bank. The PA broke the Oslo accords and has now joined a terror organization, so what's to be done? I imagine that Israel will now annex large parts of the West Bank. What it will do with Arabs presently living there remains to be seen, but the bottom line is almost certainly that the PA leadership including Abbas will be returned to their HQ in Gaza and that Israel will once again control the West Bank.
11. Mashal y Abbas
Alberto Nahum ,   Caesarea-Israel   (11.19.11)
We'll see if Hamas changes iFhone Kalashnikov as did the West Bank Fatah, or Fatah iFhone change again by the Kalashnikov, which will be seen there are the intentions of the alliance that made in Gaza or the West Bank does not matter , on both sides will have the same treatment from us if they want war will have war, if they want peace they will have peace depends

Ralph Haglund ,   Lund, Sweden   (11.19.11)

18. to #12 Mr. Historian

Could you try and write that in understandable English this time? By the way, you never did tell me what happened to all the Native Americans who formerly lived in Minnesota...
19. The Likud made this possibile by
John Robey ,   Austin, Texas   (11.19.11)
not giving Abbas any hope for a homeland through negotions. Abbas was the best partner Israel could of hoped for and now he has been driven into the arms of Hamas. Maybe Bibi wants things to be like they are..interesting Hamas, and Iran agree with Bibi..no state for the Pals. They don't want it if it means recognizing Israel The problem is that time is not on Israel's side...look at the demographics...out numbered by Arabs in the areas under your control and at a time when there is a call for democracy in much of the Arab world.
20. It is good, not bad for Israel.
Nora Tel Aviv   (11.19.11)
Gaza will be the temporary (!) capital of the future Palestinian State. And Israel will see to that this capital stay forever in Gaza.It means bye bye to "Al Kuds" as a dreamed capital.
21. #15 Jonathan
(11.19.11)
The answer to your question; You tell me what law allows hamas to launch thousands of rockets fron Gaza with intention to kill civilians? Then youll have the answer.
22. Logic is awesome.
Salma ,   Palestine   (11.19.11)
23. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.20.11)
The law that states that Israel does not have to tolerate undesirable aliens within its borders. West Bank Arabs are Jordanian citizens. We can repatriate them there or we can offer them the option of building an ersatz "Palestinian" state in Gaza. When Israel annexes Judea and Samaria -- and it is a question of when, not if -- all those Jordanian citizens will have to leave. There is absolutely nothing in international law or convention which states that Israel has to retain illegal aliens within its borders. Yours was something of a stupid question, by the way.
