Congress will enact legislation requiring the U.S. to follow suit -- the decision by the administration to exclude Iran's central bank was NOT well received by the U.S. Congress. This will serve to cripple Iran's ability to move money via SWIFT transactions (over 96 percent of all the intermediary banks are U.S. or British). Moreover, I'm not sure that invoking sanctions that are geared towards Iran's petroleum industry will affect the United States. It might affect Europe and the U.K., but -- who cares? Cripping Iran's ability to mess in Saudi Arabian and Kuwaiti internal affairs may just cause our Arab friends to increase production while keeping prices stable. In any event -- ultimately, it's Congress' call; not the president's. Do keep that in mind.

Why wouldn't the English government's business involve Iranian illegal activities in the United Kingdom? If not, why not? You are SUCH a dolt! It is up to the Iranian people to change matters, isn't it?
