They have the muscle to do it and they have support from Iran and alot of support in Lebanon. All they need to do is to say its to stop an Israeli invasion of Syria and they are holy warriors come to protect Syria and they could probably pull it off. I think the Syrian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood could live with the idea of Hezbollah running the show as long as they have a role to play in making sure Syria stays Muslim. In Syria there is less organized resistance than there was in Libya and there are people waiting to move in from all corners and this time there wont be any western intervention to stop it, Soon Iran might have an even tighter grip on Syria than they do with their ally Assad in charge.
