The cowardice of BIBI Going back on his word because he needs to grovel to the americans and europeans.
2. It is not cowardice, it's called politics! (wild laughter)
tom ,   tel aviv   (11.28.11)
3. wonder if
hodaya ,   israel   (11.28.11)
after the first transaction, they will start launching rockets to us again. Our income taxes go to this people instead of fixing Israel problems like better salaries and better health insurance, we give them money for them to buy more weapons....
4. Not a shekel!
Devorah   (11.28.11)
Let UNESCO and every other lunatic organization that supports "palestine" be their sugar daddies.
5. why??? they want to destroy us and we care about them?
israeli ,   jerusalem   (11.28.11)
6. Hoped that Israel would keep the money.
Bad assed Jew. ,   United States   (11.28.11)
The only way to snuff the pals is to end the money.
7. Remember Gilad Shalit!
emanon ,   USA   (11.28.11)
It's payback time. Keep changing the demands and don't restore payments until repayment is made to Jews for leaving for Gush Katif!
8. Israel considering to provide Palestinians with tax payments
BA ,   Sweden   (11.28.11)
"We have no intention of driving the PA into collapse and Israel" This is the overall strategical mistake! A mistake for all future generations. LIKUD has emptied itself from the concept of ארץ–ישראל and obviously become the lobby for Northern Tel Aviv. A shame. A very great shame!
9. Why are we giving money to a people who want to destroy us?

> > "We see that the talks have more of > a tactical and ceremonial > significance than concrete > results." > We must distinguish between, what we are shown and what is going on. How come, that the two chubby terrorists in chief are playing theater for us? Who is directing this production? What is the intention of the author? So we are seeing frequent stagings, act by act, but we must ask what the two sides are negotiating before they are opening the curtain for the intl. audience. We all know, that the main actors share the one agenda: 1. Annihilation of Israel 2. Kill all Jews As long, as they don't take clear steps that show the opposite, I see no direct reason to resume money transfers. The intl. community is urging Israel to resume the money transfers. And? What do they offer? Will they stop cuddling the terrorists? Will they stop punishing Israel for defending life and limb of her citizens?
11. Having genocidal mass-murdering extortionists
Kerwood Derby ,   Frostbite Falls, MN   (11.28.11)
left in your midst has a devastating effect on the lives the land is named for. Instead of funding, arming and training those that come to kill you per Oslo, enforce their right of return back to the homidial, Hamite peninsular homeland of their own name. Instill in them a sense of self identity with the land of their own name. That would be humane so you would not have to kill them when they come to kill you, Heaven forbid, again.
12. Clueless doesn't get you re elected, It gets the REAL RIGHT
Hippocrates ,   Earth   (11.28.11)
/nationalists elected instead. do what you say, say what you mean, stop kissing -ss. No one respects a serious butt kisser. Try standing erect, being charismatic, being fair, and following through...youll be amazed at the results
13. Hey, Brother...tell me it ain't so...?
Z.Z. Coltrane ,   USA   (11.28.11)
Come on Bibi...forget politics, just stand on principle; have some courage and stand-up for your convictions. Make the little bastards' crawl and beg, then just when they think they have you fooled again...just pull the carrot back! Politics are just a tease. God bless Israel! Hey, brother...can I borrow a fifty? Here: keep the change... .
14. Pardon,
Jake Stone ,   USA   (11.28.11)
Israel is just throwing away good money, right down the toilet! Can you hear the flush of the toilet water...known as the Palestinians'? Oh, there goes the biggest turds: Abbas and Mashaal! Oh, crap, out of your daily convience: can anyone throw me a roll of toilet paper? Thank you, I'm all set, now.
15. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.etc
Salma ,   Palestine   (11.28.11)
16. This is just Bibi being Bibi - caving under pressure
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (11.28.11)
On Sunday Bibi caved on the issue of tearing down the structurally unsound bridge leading to the Temple Mount - under pressure from Egypt and Jordan. But it's now Monday, and he's on the verge of caving over those PA funds, this time under pressure from the US, UN and EU. It's clear why the PA, the Arabs, and Iran don't fear Israel. Its tough talk is simply not followed by sustained, determined action.
17. Hey Salma
BigFish ,   USA   (11.28.11)
Palestine is more Jewish than Arab. Proof is in the origin of the name -- the Roman province, the re-name of Judea & Samaria. Ignoramus!
18. C'mon can you throw again pearls to the PIGS???
Lexa ,   AE   (11.28.11)
Many ISRAELIS need that money specially with those who where orphaned and widowed.
19. Consider it, and reject it
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (11.28.11)
Let the ersatz "Palestinians" fend for themselves for once in their despicable lives. There are tons of Arabs sitting on seas of oil who can pick up the slack. Why should Israel continue to pay for the upkeep of those who wish to destroy us? The money is far better spent for the betterment of Jews. We don't need to throw money away on the succor of those who wish our extermination. For starters, we can spend it on improving the lives of those Jews who were unceremoniously tossed out of Arab and Moslem countries. That's a pretty long list. Let the Saudis and Kuwaitis and other oil-soaked Arabs pick up the slack on behalf of their brethren. Me, personally? I'm tired of footing that really big bill.
20. Funds Trans to Resume
david ,   seattle, usa   (11.28.11)
So, let's get this straight. Israel freezes funds because of a unilateral move by the PA and now will resume the transfers because of more unilateral moves--now a PA reconciliation w Hamas and a joint stmt that the PA/Hamas goals are the same. Can someone say no guts? Can someone say 'stupid?'
21. #19 not your money
Uri ,   Siberia   (11.28.11)
This is money that was collected on behalf of the palestinians by the israeli authorities - the money does not belong to Israel which is exactly why it will be given back to the palestinians one day - people like you who want to keep the money (anything shiny I assume) are just common thiefs ....
22. Must be done
Robert ,   USA   (11.28.11)
The funds must be transferred to the PA. A collapse of the economy there is NOT in the best interests of Israel, particularly now. The proposal to "review the matter every month" makes sense because it keeps the pressure on, and the threat to not send the collected funds at all makes sense if any of it goes to Hamas.
23. NOT a rational thought. Not a...
Gideon Reader   (11.28.11)
...single GOOD reason for resumption. Definitely Not a shining moment of defense of the nation, clarity. The effect of cutting off funds to the sworn blood enemies, which will be utilized in furtherrance of the real and fatal war, has been remarkably effective and has the potential to be even more effective as it continues. Resuming funding worse than irrational. It is patently STUPID.
24. Either way, Lieberman gets my vote in the next elections.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (11.28.11)
25. Uri / 21
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (11.28.11)
Perhaps the money can go to the victims of the Pals terrorist attacks and to privide security for Israel from all the rocket and morter attacks. Sarah B is right. Let the Arabs provide welfare for the fake Pals. Let them supply them with electricity and water. Israel owes them nothing.
26. Lieberman for PM
USA   (11.28.11)
27. Do it Bibi and your out of a JOB
DR1 ,   Israel   (11.28.11)
We will not stand for this
28. Israel is learning from her neighbors
Mike S ,   Phoenix, USA   (11.28.11)
It is becoming loud and hollow. Obviously the PA is of a strategic importance to Israel. At the moment Israel needs the PA more than the Palestinians themselves. Anyways, it is politically immature to hold the tax money (piracy/stealing) when Israel knows for a fact they will HAVE to release it again.
29. bunch of clowns ! NO MONEY FOR THE ARAB TERRORISM
(11.28.11)
30. #19 Sarah B
Lio ,   London UK   (11.28.11)
This money is collected taxes, legally belonging to Palestinians. Israel is with-holding it, and is not funding them, so calm down and stop sounding-off like a fishwife!
