1. It's good to train for this...
because it's going to happen! Assad will not go out without a fight; he'll use his own resources and Hezbollah in Lebanon to deliver chemical, biological weapons on Northern Israel. Israel will respond with nuclear weapons (Isaiah 17:1). Some will argue the fallout contention; at that moment, it won't matter. And, Isaiah 17 and the Psalm 83 War is not part of the Ezekiel 38-39 scenario or Armageddon. These latter wars are comming! At the end of Armageddon, Israel will finally see their Messiah at His second coming: Jesus Christ. God bless Israel and His Jerusalem! A Christian Zionist

I agree Assad will like to go down in a blaze of glory in an attempt to be seen in the at home and across the arab world as a hero fighting the zionist entity.
If he can pull it off he can survive and his power will never be challenged again because he is a hero not a brutal dictator living under the shadow of a man who was considered a hero by arabs because he was never scared to take on israel. ( his father )
Whilst Assad might be willing to go to war with Israel as a survival tactic I don't think he is mad enough to use chemical weapons... he wants to be living in a palace not a nuclear bunker.

I hope you're right; but, if you read Isaiah 17 and how it describes Damascus ceasing to be a city in one night, I just don't see how Israel could, by using only conventional means, wipe-out a large city like that? Other theologians' have surmised that it must be a limited, nuclear strike. I have heard about the Neutron weaponry, but still, I lean toward the nuclear means of devestation. I guess we'll have to wait and see; it's such a sad thing to have to contemplate. Praying for Israel and God's Jerusalem! A Christian Zionist
