1. Wives of successful men...
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.01.11)
Why not have successful women who made it on their own? This just communicates the idea that women should marry a man who might become successful and then go from there as opposed to making something of themselves on their own. Bad message in this day and age.
2. Try again.
k. ,   Israel   (12.02.11)
According to this conference, behind every successful woman stands a man.
3. 'Girl Power'
lea ,   Israel   (12.02.11)
The term doesn't even refer to females as mature. That says it all, doesn't it? All this so-called empowerment, it's just smoke and mirrors.
4. #1, true
Jacob ,   Holon   (12.03.11)
It also shows that the measure of a woman's success is how successful her husband is. I know if I become super successful in life, my wife will be partially responsible, but I also know she won't measure her success completely on that because it works the other way around too.
5. cherie blair is v succesful in her own right
tsfatisha ,   tsfat   (12.03.11)
in fact cherie blair was a much more successful lawyer than her husband.. she was earning circa £1 million a year... before he became prime minister..
6. 1 Henry If a couple is mature...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (12.03.11)
enough to be able to work on the same project ,in good understanding [no matter whom the projectors shoot],that s GREAT.
7. #5 and #6
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.03.11)
#5: Did the article mention that about her? Nope, they just refer to her as the wife of the former PM. You only know that because you learned about it independently. Besides, look at the first sentence of this article: "They say that behind every successful man stands a woman." --- that says it all. #6: Both need equal representation. Men and women are supposed to be equal in all walks of life. It doesn't matter how much the wife actually contributed, she should get recognition just like the man. The recognition does in fact matter because that is how women get themselves taken seriously.
8. 7 Henry For most women..
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (12.03.11)
the recognition of her husband is enough.
9. #8 Funny...
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.04.11)
Every other woman I have ever known has held the opposite view from you. Then again, most are American, but I have always sensed the same is true in Tel Aviv.
10. 9 Henry Funnily enough...
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (12.05.11)

Dafna HaDafna ,   HaOlam   (12.09.11)
I love how your highest aspiration in life is to become a baby factory for some haredi. I hope you enjoy that being your only accomplishment!
