Sarah The arabs have been destined for the trash heap for centuries. When they lived a nomadic existence their favorite past time was tribal warfare. They started to settle in the 20th century then came the zionists and that gave them something new to focus their aggression on. In 1918 they rejected Balfour which would not have even created a Jewish state just a jewish homeland. Zionism hadn't yet grown into an ideological movement it was just about a bunch of Eastern European Jews wanting to escape pogroms. In 1947 they rejected partiion which could have given them a state in 45% of mandate Palestine. The wanted a war, they got one, no state and a refugee problem. Today they want a state in 22% of mandate Palestine but they don't want to hold the negotiations needed to turn fantasy into reality. All we get is tantrums and UN bids knowing the Security Council will block their demands. They really are a people from the trash heap nothing more.
