1. Israel fears terror attacks
JUDAH THE LION   (12.04.11)
Israel should warns the whole world & Egypt very loudly and clearly, if there will be any terror attacks from their side of the border, Israel will take military action in that area.Egypt must be held fully responsible if any terror attacks on Israel from Egypt borders
2. Hopefully it will keep out the human sex trafficking too
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.04.11)
Its sad that that issue wasn't a priority of our country though. It bothers me that story doesn't even touch on it.
3. bi bi-don't screw around with IAF appointments
alexi   (12.04.11)
genral locker has a stained history, is mroe like halutz and does not have the credentials of eshel. i don't care how well or discreet he is. Locker blocked the presence of army staff at discussions of the flotilla raid which was a disaster and is indeed barak's project which he bungled. israel does not need another political general like halutz or kaplinski. it needs a war veteran who knows combat not some so called politician like barak. do not appoint locker to iaf chief. Eshel is the man for the job.
4. this is brilliant, judah...

6. A fence is good but not enough
Alexander ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (12.04.11)
A security fence stops terrorists, illegal immigrants from Africa, drugs and human trafficking from entering Israel through the Israeli-Egyptian border, but a security fence will not stop tanks, air planes, missiles, rockets, WMDs, Jew hatred/anti-Semitism, Arab/Iranian/Turkish despotism, tyranny and imperalism and will not stop the fanatical ideology of Islam nor will a security fence stop incitement against Jews in Egypt. In order to radically change the situation in the Middle East, Israel needs to deliver a final fatal blow to the Arab states, Iran and Turkey. Until that is done, a security fence might be preferable to no security fence, but will not solve the tensions in the region permanently nor will it end Arab/Iranian/Turkish hostility to Jews and Israel permanently.
