Saudi has billions invested in the Pakistani bomb. Acquiring a nuclear weapon would be as simple as telephoning the top Pakistan general and saying "We are ready to take delivery".

Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.06.11)
Zippo! Saudi Arabia is golden in a way that Israel could only dream. No one holds them accountable for anything and they can do whatever they want without fear of repercussion. Saudi Arabia, the Teflon Nation.

William ,   Israel   (12.06.11)
SA wouldn't bother trying to get nukes because of Israel. SA rulers are smart enough to know that their rule and country is not threatened by Israel unless the Arabs target the Jewish State directly. Notice after 1948, no other Arab States besides Syria, Jordan, and Egypt attacked Israel...and for good reason. The Saudis are scared of Iran and for good reason. Iran would definitely attack other Arab States and have a religious mandate to do so. Saudis voiced their fear of Iran many times; never of Israel.
12. Saudi and nukes LOL
IsraelRasta ,   U.K.   (12.06.11)
So who are these racist devils gonna nuke the darker inhabitants of the peninsula, the black Arabs or abid, zanuj as they call them. Saudi is a racist Apartied theocracy with the worlds worst human rights violations on the planet,,,,,,,,,quiet as kept.
13. Russian Generals
morris wise ,   usa   (12.06.11)
Russian generals need cash, the oil profits have been denied to them. Newer weapons are being sold to third world countries but only corporate executives are benefiting. There is hope for the Generals; they are guarding thousands of nuclear armed missiles. Saudi Arabia is willing to pay billions for some of them. Expect Russian military ships to leave the port of Vladivostok on their way to Riyadh.
14. They already have them.
Sensei ,   Santa Barbara, USA   (12.07.11)
The statement is just justification. I bet they have had them since the first Gulf War.
15. Saudi regime collapse
gt ,   NY, USA   (12.10.11)
The Pakistani military establishment, at once beholden to & responsible for ensuring the safety of the present Saudi royal family +regime long have anticipated their collapse. The Pakistani Deep Establishment sees itself playing a long-term role via its ex-armed forces personnel serving in KSA & in the Gulf States, exploiting opportunities as they occur! Who else will the KSA turn to for nuclear technology, they reason, but Pakistan? KSA treats Pakistan as a vassal, which does not sit well with the latter, whose "Deep Establishent" is content to count the days to a reckoning. While Israel combusts over relatively sane & civilized Iran, she is completely ignoring the FAR greater danger to the east!!! It is a grave error to antagonize proud Iranians for the sins of the IRGC. Divide and conquer should be attempted. Pakistan suggests a somewhat approach, and a more urgent danger which is being overlooked. The disastrous US handling of that nation will have savage repercussions on Israel. Unfortunately, current Israeli leaders are too lazy, selfish and incompetent to think beyond their own personal gains. They certainly have come a long way from the legacy of Ben Gurions, or even Begins!!
