With the money stolen from Austrian Jews who owned real estate in East Germany. Germany refused to return these properties because of a Treaty between E. Germany and Austria.

When my grandma died, the Austrian government wanted repayment for a year's pension they had repaid by accident they even went through a Jewish firm in the US. Never mind her and her husband's family having to leave behind almost everything there. The East Germans are no better (other than Kanzellerin Merkel) what with both being told they were victims of the Nazi regime by the Soviets. Too bad none of our family involved in haShoah could have collected on this, what with all seven being murdered within a week of arriving at their respective camps.

Up to 2007 WJC was bragging on their web site: "As a result of negotiations with the World Jewish Congress the German government has paid more than $50 billion in indemnification for suffering and losses resulting from Nazi persecution. Our negotiations have also resulted in the creation of special funds for Holocaust survivors and Holocaust education from the Austrian Government, German and Austrian industry and many other European nations" ,... It's gone since but I have a copy - Take a note that they don't mention a few Billions received from Swiss Banks ,...
