1. Actually...
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (12.07.11)
Actually it is good that they have no clue about Israels intentions towards Iran. With such a president you can even expect that he would tell Iranians...
2. Too funny
Palestinian ,   Jerusalem   (12.07.11)
The Americans sent the Israealis the bunkers' bombs, and then say we know nothing, really funny policy, but too exposed
3. A matter of trustworthyness
Yael Schlichting ,   Raubling - Germany   (12.07.11)
So obviously the Obama administration has the impression, that she is not trusted in the Middle East in General and in Israel in special. And now they are seem to be reasoning, that in consequence, they of course are not trusted and not everything important is shared with then. How come?
4. Israel can't attack Iran without being....
Chris.B ,   Australia   (12.07.11)
destroyed itself. The games over. Bluff and double bluff means nothing to the facts on the ground. Israeli and U.S hegemony in the Middle East is lost forever.
5. Translation: Please tell us (US)...
Gideon Reader   (12.07.11)
...your most secret plans and intentions, in order that we may leak it to the press and your most bitter, sworn enemies, for some minor transitory, fleeting political advantage or base economic gain. You can trust us. Really. You can; we're Democrat Party Proles, and we have always had your best interests at heart. You are just to freaking into that JOOO'ish state crap and too stupid to know it.

9. US unsure
Endyr ,   United States   (12.07.11)
The most anti-Israel administration in US history says it is unsure, maybe because it wouldn't hesitate to tell Israel's enemies if it did.
10. To: No. 4
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.11)
Get a grip. Then get some information -- you are dismally misinformed. Iran "destroy" Israel? With what? Daisy chains of girls around its nuclear sites? Israel is a nuclear power, with delivery capability. Have you forgotten? Israel can destroy Iran before you can say "ayatollah."

12. If Nobama would have any clue about
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (12.07.11)
Israels intentions, he would put it up for public display at his newfound "virtual" embassy...GET A GRIP !!!!!!!!!!!!!
13. Gosh gee whiz
Professor Miao   (12.07.11)
Obama is too stupid to know that without the realistic threat of military action Iran has no incentive to give up its nuclear weapons program, even after 3 years of failed 'diplomacy'. Obama is actively trying to undercut the strongest sanctions in the US Senate bill. Obama is cheering on and enabling the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist parties in the region. Obama has repeatedly undermined Israel's negotiating position with respect to the Palestinians, and blames Israel for all the problems in the Middle East. And the US thinks Israel should trust him enough to show him all their cards???? The smartest president eveh sure is an idiot.
14. The mafiosi Panetta is clearly on Irans
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (12.07.11)
paylist...he is a SWORN enemy of Israel !
15. Israel Doomed
Khaled ,   USA   (12.07.11)
Its funny how the tide has turned against Israel. Back in the day it could do whatever and get away with it. Now, if they attack Iran, then you have missles from the north, missles from gaza, missles from Iran, and Syra potentially. Israel lost to a Hezbollah group that was not nearly as equipped as the "FEARED ISRAELI ARMY" and i believe Israel is in decline, and eventually will be wiped off the map. Sorry guys, but Karma is a beotchhhhhhh
16. Bull!
James ,   Raleigh US   (12.07.11)
'US unsure what might prompt Israel to attack' More Obama incompetence. Hmm...maybe the threat of their very existence? I don't know. Let me check my magic 8 ball....
17. America has become terribly sissified under Obama.
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (12.07.11)
Just deal with the situation as is and have a contingency plan ready, because it's looking like you won't get any warning at all.
18. Like we can trust the US???
BSH ,   Israel   (12.07.11)
US under Obama has proved that it is NO FRIEND of Israel
19. #15, Khaled...are you trying to blow söme-
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (12.07.11)
one or something up in the US ???? Hmmmm........
20. The US has lost !.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (12.07.11)
Do they believe that the - "Unintended Consequenses" - would be lesser if the sanctions fail ?. There are no Warriors in the US Government only Chamberlainers. A Comparison - If the US acted aginst Japan as Japan acted aginst the US, when the Second World War in the Pacific comensed, what an Difference it would have been. Likewise, If the US did that against Iran, what an Differense it would be, as if anybody other did it. The US is an loser, because She has no sense of responsibility any longer. If One thinks wrog One loses. Arn.Sweden.
21. The truth is no one knows...
esnuffnstl ,   USA   (12.07.11)
...the extent of the paranoia floating around in the minds of various Israeli leaders. Israel has the best military in the Mid East, is armed with hundreds of nuclear weapons, and is allied with the world's most powerful nation (which currently has bases encircling Iran.) The region is in turmoil and Iran's allies are losing power. The ripples of which may very well bring about a "Persian spring." All of which should be factored when considering the ravings of Ahmadinejad (whose actual power is quite limited.) What would be the result of Israel attacking Iran? It would unite the Iranian people (and its allies), give Iran better knowledge of how to hide/bury its nuclear activities in the future, give credence to the argument in Iran that it needs nuclear weapons, and, most importantly, only briefly delay Iran's nuclear program (by a year or two at most.) The reaction by Iran would also, inevitably, kill Israelis and Americans. If a larger war resulted from the attack, Israel would be blamed for both the deaths and the economic turmoil. Waiting is the best option. The West and others are tightening economic sanctions on Iran (which are finally beginning to hurt Iranian leaders.) Things are *mysteriously* going wrong with Iran's nuclear program: scientists are being killed, missiles blowing up. The world's eyes are on Iran and if any proof of Iran building a nuclear weapon is found, the US/UK will certainly take military action (and they could do significantly more damage than Israel.)
22. Worried about Isr. attacking Iran notIran attacking Isr.
Steven Gilbert ,   teaneck   (12.07.11)
23. #19 Yes Chris, I think Khaled is trying to blow someone...
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (12.07.11)
up in the US...oh well.
24. To: No. 15
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.07.11)
You're forgetting something rather important. Missiles from anywhere just can -- and will -- be met with a nuclear response. Good-bye Gaza. Good-bye Lebanon. Good-bye Syria. Good-bye Iran. Nuclear weapons trump karma, every time. Gee -- what a bitch! Israel will be here long after every Arab and Islamic nation is a dim and distant memory.
25. Given recent days' events, why should Israel trust the US?
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (12.07.11)
Just consider what's transpired in recent days. First Panetta puts the onus for everything that's gone awry in the region on Israel. Then the US ambassador to Belgium blames Muslim anti-Semitism on Israel's action. Then Clinton accuses Israel of moves she deems anti-democratic. Meanwhile, Obama (who claimed before a Jewish audience that he is committed to Israel's security) is working feverishly to water down sanctions against Iran that were passed 100-0 in the Senate. Is it any wonder Israel is losing faith in the US?
26. US is does not know Israel's intentions
Harold ,   USA   (12.07.11)
The only way the US can tame Israel is by cutting all aids to her.

28. Now why would Israel feel the need to withhold
David Turner ,   Richmond, USA   (12.07.11)
her intentions from the Obama White House? Where is that "Special Relationship" now?
29. #2 Too funny, from land of Nod
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.07.11)
Time, date & place, Israel knows, Iran doesn’t and neither will USA, since they have a Muslim President Iran has said many a time that it intends to destroy Israel; we'll just keep Iran guessing as to when they get their dose of justice Don't be too smug, Iran hasn't developed the technology that would allow their nukes to differentiate between, Muslims, Jews & Christian’s or how to localize radiation to one locale
30. #4 Chris B. Such Wisdom (LOL)
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.07.11)
Iran has threatened to destroy Israel repeatedly, if and when she get the nuclear bomb, she will use it Israel knows that, it has nothing further to lose Israel may be lost, so will most of the countries in the Middle East, including the ones that are the major oil suppliers Hell's bells, you don't know what is going at home with your own Aborigines, now you pretend to be an expert in Middle Eastern affairs
