When will Obama/Clinton finally understand the difference between friend & foe? If they don't, it's about time this odd couple keeps the honour to themselves, make history and abdicate, for they are a superior pair of bunglers....whatever they do & whenever they open their mouth. It's sad & pityfull to watch.
2. Ohhh...really...TOOOOO bad...LOLLLLL

Reason would unravel U.S. policy regarding Iran and the ME in general for the last two years. Unfortunately, we don't see that...we get foolish flirtation with Islamist groups that upsets moderate regimes as we've seen what happened to Lebanon, and about to see possibly with Egypt, Libya, and Tunisia. We get.....Panetta's "order" for the two sides to get to the "damn" table!!! The time available to stop Iran's program isn't infinite regardless what damn table he's talking about.

Liberals are lost and have no connection with reality.
7. #6 what?

But wasn't it liberal thinking that caused us to rebel in 1775 and then create the Declaration in 1776? It seemed like a pretty good idea to me....
8. "we can take action in cyber space against the site"
William ,   Israel   (12.07.11)
I suppose Iran is now gearing up for a cyber attack on the virtual embassy, where they will take dozens of avatars hostage, then blame it on hooligan hackers they can't seem to control.

Ah, but you are forgetting that in 1787 the newly liberated colonies held a constitutional convention, and imposed far more stringent controls on the brand-new United States than King George III ever did. To this day, the United States suffers from far too much in the way of federal controls.

And that's why we had our civil war. It wasn't about slavery as so many believe. Had the south abandoned slavery before war broke out they probably would have won the war. As it was there were massive draft riots in New York as the war was not popular but the slavery issue galvanized many in the north. The people on both sides didn't know that the industrial revolution was coming and that it would have killed slavery anyway.
11. #9, maybe so
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.08.11)
That is true, yes, but you can't really blame them what with the disasters of the so-called "Whiskey Rebellion," we needed a strong central government to keep things in order. And, let's face it; left to their own devices most states would act only in their own interests and wouldn't do much of anything to help the other states or the whole body in a confederation. We'd be a much weaker nation. As much as I hate to say it, sometimes you have to force people to do what is best.
