If Mr Hague wants to support universal rights and values he has to answer to questions: 1) Why do you have to interfer with Israel's domestic affairs? Interfering with Israeli politics through European/British funds goes against our democratic rights, it goes against our independence and sovereignty, it goes against the will of the majority of the Israelis, it goes against our national interests and it certainly goes against bombastic terms such as "universal rights and values". I don't think British imperialism and interference with Israeli domestic affairs are considered to be "universal rights and values". But protecting Israel from foreign and hostile governments such as yourself Mr Hague absolutely protects Israeli democracy, most Israelis suport it, and it is consistent with universal rights and values since it respects the will of the Jewish/Israeli people. Now, regarding "universal rights and values" - was the British empire a prime example of that universal tolerance and brotherly love?
