31. with all due respect...
J.Gad ,   Israel   (12.08.11)
since when a U.S.A. embassy located in Tel Aviv, Akko or Sdeerot is associated with the idea that Jerusalem have to be recognize by the U.S.A. or by any other country as part of the Jewish State? I want to make very clear my position about it. If i were part of this coallition goverment i simply will answer to those candidates in the States, well, you know what? Jerusalem is mine! if the u.s.a wants to locate his american embassy in the west bank., good luck on your next endeavours :-) jewish votes are not like dust in the wind lol
32. #8 The Founding Fathers were slave owners
Tahl   (12.08.11)
So they would probably be the last ones to have any moral authority to judge America on anything today. And by the way. I wonder what would the Canadian Founing Fathers would say about the makeup of Canada's population today.
33. #29 at least try and make it a convincing fake
Tahl   (12.08.11)
Your atrocious English and total incoherence immidiately attests for your lame impostoring. When will ynetnews finally require registration for writing talkbacks? Such cases of identity theft, as well as a plethora of anonymous pests who write nonsense here, are annoying and distubring.
34. #24 Things have changed
Cynthia ,   USA   (12.08.11)
The Jewish vote is no longer predictable. Everyone I know is now a former democrat working to vote Obama out of office. Voting against him is a no brainer since he's been a disaster for this country. Any of the Republican candidates will do a better job.
35. Whoever put bacon on the American Jew's plate wins!!
tom ,   tel aviv   (12.08.11)
36. MAKE SURE this MIRACLE happen in your life time!
mary of bethany ,   singapore   (12.08.11)
US Jewish Voters! "Jerusalem as Israel's undivided capital"! Make sure it happens in your lifetime! The Status of Jerusalem lies in your hands, it hangs in a balance, there's not a better time to make sure your greatgrandfathers' vow last forever: "NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM"! (oosp, all Jerusalem except East Jerusalem? your great grandfathers will roll in their graves to see you DO NOTHING to let East Jerusalem be cut out from Jerusalem the Golden!) Remember the Beautiful "Yerushalayim Shel Zahav") If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. (Ynet editors, pl kindly post, toda rabah!
37. Not reported quote "Axe the State Dept"
NOTREPORTED ,   Jerusalem Israel   (12.08.11)
Not reported in this article was a Tv report showing one of the candidates saying if elected they would " Take an axe to the State Department because of their Middle East policies .Unfortunately i did not see who was speaking it was a man 's voice but these strong words are not being reported . It was on France 24 in English .
38. Immidiately wrong
Sarah B. ,   U.S.A. /Israel   (12.08.11)
Thanks for trying to help me Tahl, but ... frankly, just read this: "Your atrocious English and total incoherence immidiately attests",,,, this was the best joke of the day... regarding the lexicon, further comment unnecessary, dearest.
39. My mistake, sorry
Tahl   (12.08.11)
I meant "Immediately", not immidiately. And "impostoring" instead of "imposturing". Sorry.
40. #38 #39...
J.Gad ,   Israel   (12.08.11)
I will Clipp it in mind...lol i need to correct english grammar too. hahaha
41. Wrong focus, guys!
Gunnar ,   Gothrnburg, sweden   (12.08.11)
Could all this focus on the Israeli-Palestinian issue in fact be an attempt to avoid discussing issues of REAL importance to the US? The ever-growing power of China. The ever-diminishing power of America. The terrible state of the US econmoy etc.... Would make sense, because the Republicans are completely unable to confront the REAL challenges the US is facing.
42. Impostor at #29, #38, #39 - better get your eyes checked.
Tahl from #33   (12.08.11)
I have never written "imposturing". I wrote "impostoring". I suggest a visit to the optometrist would be in order for you. And then also a good shrink. Maybe he could figure out why you spend your day writing to yourself here under various aliases.
43. to #41 not so fast, china won't be that powerfull
ghostq   (12.08.11)
70 years r 70 years, and we see today the chinese economy, sweat shops under communism r horible. they will want a change.
44. To: No. 1
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.08.11)
Well, you happen to be wrong. The Jewish vote in swing states -- Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida -- matters a great deal. Keep in mind that the popular vote does not elect a president; the Electoral College does, and those are states with quite a lot of electoral votes. By the way -- Jewish contributions to Obama's re-election campaign are down approximately 80% over Jewish campaign contributions to Obama in 2008. I call that a good thing. Obama's actions have belied his meaningless words and yes, the Jews have been paying attention.
45. To: Henry at No. 17
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.08.11)
Honey bunny, the Golan is a done deal. Israel formally annexed the Golan Heights in 1982 and we really don't give a hoot who recognizes it or not. Don't confuse jingoistic campaign "promises," which are essentially worthless, with hard, cold facts on the ground. Foreign governments can put their embassies in Tel Aviv, but that does not change the fact that Jerusalem is Israel's capital. Of course, foreign embassies are supposed to be lodged in capital cities. When Israel decides to pull the plug and insist that all foreign embassies relocate to Jerusalem, what are foreign governments going to do? Pack up and leave Israel entirely? Doubtful. Jerusalem is Israel's capital. Period. Full stop. Foreign governments can get with the program .... or they can leave. Frankly, the latter is highly unlikely.
46. The post at No. 29 is not mine
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.08.11)
For starters, it is entirely inaccurate. I am a registered Republican and have campaigned tirelessly for Republican candidates for a VERY long time. About $5 million worth, actually.
47. The post at No. 38 is not mine
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.08.11)
For one thing, I know how to spell "immediately." Try again, imposter. Keep making a giant fool of yourself. It is entertaining. The deeper question is -- why are you so ashamed to post as yourself? Do you have self-esteem issues? Are you sexually impotent? Frightened of women? Too much in love with your grandmother? Too much in love with your grandfather? What's your serious psychological malfunction (yes, you have one. At least one, at any rate; probably considerably more.)? Do enlighten us. Perhaps we can help. That would be the compassionate thing, and Jews are very compassionate people.
48. #8.James: Have you heard of Saudi Arabia
Tom ,   USA   (12.08.11)
Do equally oppose the Saudi wahabi influence on Washington or ONLY the Jews piss you off? Tell the truth.
49. AMERICAN-REPUBLICAN PARTY.
SJOERD RUURD VDV ,   MULTIVERSE   (12.09.11)
UNFORTUNATELY GRADUALLY AT LAST THE USA-REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS BECOME( NEARLY) A FAR RIGHT US-NATIONALIST/DICTATORIAL/FASCIST PARTY WHICH OFTEN SABOTAGES/WORK AGAINST THE UNITED NATIONS ORGANIZATION SINCE 1945. IN THAT CASE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN VOTE OTHERWISE.
50. #49. Capital letters CRAP
Tom ,   USA   (12.09.11)
Your incoherent ranting - "fascist" "dictatorial" "sabotaging" and assorted inane notions - all in upper case - give a perfect profile of you.
51. #47 LOL
Frank-el ,   Seattle USA   (12.09.11)
Your post states: "...Jews are very compassionate people." Assuming that statement is true, then I must ask for clarification since the great majority of your posts indicate the exact opposite. Your demands and "recommendations" reek of seething hatrred and cruelty. Either you are not Jewish or your premise is incorrect based on simple logic. And please be honest with your campaign speeches and fundraising (yawn) with a platform clearly stating: Elect the US Presidential candidate that will best serve Israel regardless of US national interests. To say anything else is the height of hypocrisy.
52. Republicans court Jewish vote
John Wheat Gibson, S ,   Dallas, USA   (12.09.11)
Republicans and Democrats in the US don't give a damn for the "Jewish vote." It is the money these politicians receive from fanatical Zionists and billionaires who profit from keeping the eternal wars going that U.S. politicians are concerned about. The "Jewish vote" is about the same number as the "Muslim vote." And despite media distortions, ordinary Jews in the U.S. are a diverse group, many of whom in fact oppose the Holocaust Israel is imposing on the native population of Palestine.
