1. Israel is Not Handicapped Friendly
Netanya ,   Netanya   (12.22.11)
So many places, including gov't offices do not give access to those who are in wheelchairs, I have noticed it everywhere. There are always parking spots for handicapped, but now way for them to enter many places, if there are stairs and no ramp (most places in Israel.) This is something I have noticed all over Israel and always think that it is terrible to be in a wheelchair here, since you can't get into so many places. Make laws for malls, offices, gov't buildings, etc to create ramps for those who are not able to walk well, it will make a better society for everyone.
2. Not a problem in the North. No cinemas!
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (12.24.11)
North of Kiriyat Bialik and east of Naharia, there are no cinemas! Actually, for a lack of facilities for the handicapped, try London!
3. The Test
zivron   (12.24.11)
Do not put a stumbling block before the blind summaries what ought be the jewish attitude to disability including the victims of war and terror .The Jews in israel are failing this test and its up to snob elitist elements to reexamine their attitudes .
