Debka.com - very reliable source of info posted an article that states that Iranians were able to inpersonate / intercept control of the drone and guide it from flying over Pakistan to Iran via Afgan airspace. It was not shot dowwn - otherwise we would be looking at bits and pieces of it. It was guided to land and thus its totally intact.

i don't believe this is an aircraft hanger (look at the reflective floor) this is rather a local 'gym' or something (also note the walls). , If this aircraft has minimal damage then why is it rebuild/setup in a gym where it probably had to be taken apart to get inside? with the lower half covered up with silly banners ? If the images from Iran are of a real RQ-170 and not a propaganda fake, its virtually intact state demonstrates that it was guided to a soft landing under full control, not shot down or crashed. The stealth aircraft can not glide when fuel runs out and require constant computer stabilization to be able to fly at all. If the craft was hit by a weapon, it would show massive damage and would have certainly have then gone out of control and splintered on landing impact. The stealth aircraft are fairly fragile machines. If the Iranians captured one this intact, it was not shot down or lost due to control failure, but was guided to a soft landing by Iran [did they hack into the control system, maybe with Russian help?] or was deliberately flown to a landing in Iran by one of the CIA technicians acting against the US [not impossible - consider the Aldrich Ames and Hansen spy rings]. There is no other explanation. An out-of-control stealth aircraft can not fly itself to a perfect landing, they are inherently unstable. The CIA has some explaining to do.
