31. I don't get it !
Gabe ,   Canada   (12.09.11)
Counting rocket impacts is not quite the deterrent action one would expect. Targeted killings now and then have not stopped terror attacks either. Am I going senile ?
32. #25, wait what?
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.09.11)
I don't get it. I assume by Palestine you mean the area west of the Jordan River. I could have sworn that Israel is a member of the United Nations and that they recognise Israel as being there and owning land even if they don't recognise all her holdings. Are we talking about the same UN here?
33. Sorry Jarda but you are incorrect!
Roger ,   Lima, USA   (12.09.11)
The LORD God gave Israel to His people the Jews. They have returned and their land will not be taken away again. In fact when the people turn against the Jews to try to retake (steal) Israel (in the future) only 1/6th of them will live to tell about their failed effort.
34. Retake Gaza forever. Stop playing games.
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.09.11)
THere is one and only one reason Israel is having major problems with Gaza. Because of our lunatic retreat from Gaza. Like every single Israeli retreat, it brought disastrous results. The solution is simple. Retake Gaza forever. Stop playing games. We know what caused the problems. Let's solve it permanently.
35. Here is what you do
steve from raleigh   (12.09.11)
Instead of expensive missile strikes with attempted pinpoint accuracy, just tow a few dozen 155mm howitzers to the border and randomly lob a a few HE rounds at the most prominent areas in Gaza. At about USD$1000 a round it's cheaper. It's 'proportional' as they demand and it's not aimed. It brings the terror war back on them.
36. call it lull, call it slow down, it's cease fire
observer ,   Egypt   (12.09.11)
Israel never call its retreat by its name but adamantly call it redeployment. The 1948 lulling Hudna (truce) for the Palestinians equaled Nakbah.
37. observer # 30
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (12.09.11)
You are just upset because she is right and you are wrong. It must be an uncomfortable experience for you always being wrong when you fancy yourself as an observer. Don't give up though. If you really observe Sarah B's posts as you should be doing you will learn something.
38. we always defend our country! to you who say we dont:
real ,   us/haifa   (12.09.11)
Our boys dont launch rockets or missles randomly over the border like the animals in gaza. We choose our targets carefully. The IDF right now is putting together their next target and planning their operation. If necessary they will enter the strip and dismantle the terror cells 1 by 1. Have faith in the strength and will of the IDF, they haven't let us down yet and they never will!
39. #31 Gabe - No, you're not going senile.
Devorah   (12.09.11)
The only thing that will stop these attacks is the total annihilation of Gaza including escape routes into Israel, Egypt and the Sinai. Period. It has to be quick, dirty and final. Shabbat Shalom, Gabe
40. #Observerr, dumber t han ever
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.09.11)
SOME Jews were exiled by Rome, others remained I have a suggestion, go to your local hardware store, buy some extra screws, some of yours are very loose After that, go to the toy store, buy some marbles, you don 't have all of yours BTW- What is "exuded" had to do with Jews? It would pertain to you, your'e all gas
41. #30, 100% incorrect good sir.
Henry from New York ,   USA   (12.09.11)
No observer, it was only in Jerusalem that Jews were banned by the Romans thanks to the idiot, Bar Kokhba. Jews were still in the area in places like Caesarea, Tiveria, Tsafet, etc. We've been there in varying numbers as Jews, Judahites, Israelites, and Canaanite precursors long before 1.000 BC (if one acknowledges that there isn't evidence for the Exodus and we most likely came from Canaanites) We just haven't always held Jerusalem. I should know, Archaeology of Israel is my focus. As well, I think you mean exiled, exude cannot be used in this context. It's more like, "he exuded confidence"

44. To: No. 36
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.10.11)
Do you seriously mean to suggest that only Hamas and the other assorted terrorist trash in Gaza has the right to break a cease-fire? I think you will find that they have always been the ones to do so. In your stead, I'd worry far more about the safety and security of the Aswan Dam, whether Egypt can retain the Sinai and whether Egypt can retain the Suez Canal. Israel is not very happy with your nasty country just at the moment, and you should have some very serious concerns with respect thereto.
45. To: Rahamim at No. 42
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.10.11)
Thank you very much for your kind words. Shabbat Shalom.

In his memoirs Rabin wrote: "'Driving out' is a term with a harsh ring. Psychologically, this was one of the most difficult actions we undertook. The population of Lod did not leave willingly. There was no way of avoiding the use of force and warning shots in order to make the inhabitants march the 10 to 15 miles to the point where they met up with the legion." An Israeli censorship board removed this section from his manuscript, but Peretz Kidron, the Israeli journalist who translated the memoirs into English, passed the censored text to David Shipler of The New York Times, who published it on 23 October 1979 Expulsion of Germans from Sudeten was crime as well. The difference is that we both have worked on peace.
47. Forget the Iranians
Cameron ,   USA   (12.10.11)
You have more immediate troubles much closer to home.
48. My favorite movie is "Wall Street"
ZionistBecky ,   Israel   (12.10.11)
And my favorite line in that move is: "Greed is good." When thinking of parts of our land (given to us by G-d) that are full of goyim, we must remember: "Ethnic cleansing is good."

Armando ,   Istanbul,Turkey   (12.13.11)
I forgot about that, the Czechs committed ethnic cleansing of their land which is what the palestinians and arabs seek to do to Isralies on land that is not theirs. Thanks
