1. Oh, dear!
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (12.09.11)
The moral of the story is -- if you don't engage in violent protest in complete contravention of the law, you won't get hurt. How simple is that?
2. When you play with fire, expect to get hurt!!

He shouldn't have been near enough to get hit, only close enough to inhale

8. Can't Israel buy longer range electronic weapons that use
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (12.09.11)
bursts of radio waves to make people people hurt so much they leave? These have been on 60 minutes TV show and are in US Army use. The IDF can be hundreds of metres back and there is no permanent damage.
9. THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE AND THE PRESENT ''ISRAELI'' LEADERS-S
SJOERD RUURD VDV ,   MULTIVERSE   (12.09.11)

Take a look at the picture. See all those rocks in the road? The ersatz "Palestinian" protesters hurl them at members of the IDF. Moreover, what part of the word "clashes" do you not understand? Gas grenades are not used when protests are peaceful. But there is no such thing as an ersatz "Palestinian" protest that is peaceful. And "relatively calm" is not the same thing as "peaceful." The violent demonstrator got PRECISELY what he deserved.
11. Next, Israel will hand out helmets
steve from raleigh   (12.09.11)
With full face masks to the 'protesters' to ensure they don't get hurt. The EU will complain they inadequately consider the hijab.

BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.09.11)
Those electronic weapons CANNOT be precise enough to avoid injuring IDF & Police that are near or in the midst of the scenes where the demo's are taking place

forehead1 ,   ohio usa   (12.09.11)
another example of israels finest , followed by the ugly settlers and rightists with their talkbacks. this man was injured by an idf soldier firing directly at this mans head from close range. from the comments alone; i can see why the pals resist. your words actions and presence alone; are enough to sicken a dog. this is why i , as an american, will contract my government and vote against any aid to israel. you folks are so stupid. looking a gift horse in the mouth and somehow seeing the other end of the horse.

How did the rocks get on the road Jonathan? What makes you think the protest was non-violent?

16. #13 - you have no idea
valentina ,   israel   (12.10.11)
yes this man was injured by an IDF soldier, clearly throwing rocks at their vehicle. The difference between us and them, is that our soldiers and medics, or "ugly settlers" stopped to give him medical care. The arabs that want to hurt us (and there are plenty of them), their goal is to do as much damage as possible and would wish that they could celebrate our death, not one would stop to help us if we got injured resisting or fighting back to their violence. We don't want anyone to be injured, but these "non-violent protests" are a joke, it's arabs twisting reality to suit themselves, there is nothing peaceful about these protests, unless you enjoy having rocks thrown you, which alone can do severe damage. When you have so much hatred against you, you fight back, so if you can understand why the arabs resist, then you should be able to understand why we are angry. They 'resist' in their 'non-violent' ways, hurt us, we fight back only when they do damage, and then uneducated idiots like you blame us.

but sarah ,they WERE NOT engaged in violence .that is untrue and unfair israeli zionist propaganda. oh no ,it's all an american cia fabricated pictures .the lowlives were not throwing stones, how can little wilma worms lob stones anyway, see sarah .to be honest with you and to tell you the truth i believe they were just showering the jewish people with rice ,a traditional show of love .the pakestinians are a very very very loving and lovely civilized ''people''.

My suggestion to mr tamimi is for him and his arab pals to move to jordan asap. There, all the gas grenades shot at protesters are padded, very humane. As for you, mr foreskin, my guess is that you are just a dull, common Jew hater. You wouldn't vote for anything pro Israel under any circumstances
19. #13 Forehead1 sans contents
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.10.11)
You sound like you were hit in the head; you saw nothing and know even less Teargas projectiles can only be fired in a general direction, they're not intended nor do they have ability to fire directly at an object His head shouldn't have been there, Yours should have, so that you could have made a personal observation instead of merely posting a vacuous rant Think, if you can, of rifle grenade launchers which are notorious for inaccuracy, your post ranks right up there with them
20. protests
colin   (12.10.11)
Only one hurt Should have been twenty dead. Where the hell is the so called security of the state.???? Must be the cowardly groveling backstabbing defence minister is again hiding or running away away as he did from lebenon and gaza.
21. #13, please don't judge Israel based on the talkbacks...
Trev ,   Canada   (12.10.11)
The Internet attracts all kinds of crazy people. Don't judge Israel based on the Ynet talkback radicals.

You've obviously never fired tear gas. If you easily hit someone in the face if they are withing 15-30 feet

daze ,   US   (12.10.11)
Don't come on this site calling the participants crazy because they care and love the Jewish State. Go post on some arab site, they'll think you are a great guy. Around here you and foreskin are just schmucks. Thanks for the tear gas factoid, but we already know that a Jew within 15-30 feet of an arab punkass can be easily hit in the face by one of their purposefully jagged rocks
24. what is the IDF and the settlers doing there anyway!!!
ALI ,   iraq baghdad   (12.10.11)
do you accept that I come with few hundreds of my ppl and live in the USA or even TEL AVIV without a visa or improvement from you !!, so it will make it right , if those ppl protest peacefully with flowers and keep getting pushed and robed with their lands by the settlers protected by IDF, then it will be perfect!!!!!
25. #24 Ali - Good question, easy answer
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (12.10.11)
It's our land, we can be any damn place on it that we feel like being I have an idea, show me where Palestine is mentioned in your Quran, I dare you!!
