1. the Right needs to stop this. This is illegitimate.
Golan ,   modiin   (12.13.11)
And I am on the Right. When we learn that these people are out to protest something, the other on the Right need to be out there to make sure these (excuse me) idiots, do not cross the line. Enough! Stop learning from the Left and Arabs. This is a crime against the state!
2. SHAME on BIBI!!!
David ,   Haifa, Israel   (12.13.11)
3. if you come to hurt you will get hurt
yoni ,   tel aviv   (12.13.11)
All who come in order to hurt and destroy the lives and land of our people should anticipate a fight. What do you expect them to do ? lie down in their graves while the IDF takes away the land from the Jewish people? I dont understand how you can expect to go in and destroy homes and villages and not expect people to fight back.
4. Violent people
Nathan ,   Milano   (12.13.11)
This is the result of permissive policy due to political opportunism of the whole right sector. Their violence seemed less violent because of their ideology. Now we are all aware that violent people act for sake of violence. Governement and public opinion must stop them, not only rabbis.
5. A form of terrorism
Mike S ,   Phoenix, USA   (12.13.11)
6. Israeli civil war? About time!
One voice among many ,   Israel   (12.13.11)
Think it can only happen in the "arab spring"? think again! Israelis are sick and tired of the left's stupid policies that have led to nothing but death after death, territorial concessions that provide zero benefit and the leftist economic choking of the country by the elite wannabe europeans sitting on their perches in ramat aviv. The IDF is fed up too-we can evacuate outposts but we cannot win a war?
7. Remember who burned down the grain silos
Logic ,   Israel   (12.13.11)
two thousand years ago. Apparently, not much has changed.
8. PM on Settler Violence
Nili   (12.13.11)
This is a two way street. If the PM and his toady Barak would stop razing Jewish homes and synagogues, and hold the leftists and arabs accountable for their actions (that includes stopping their illegal building) these kids would have nothing to protest. They are certainly wrong, but what would you do if you were seeing your homes and lives destroyed??
9. No Choice Left!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (12.13.11)
Shame on Bibi, Barak who give the Settlers' no choice but to physically fight-back for the God-given land of their forefathers'. They have rights to the land, without having to worry about those they trusted to protect those rights. As far as a firm hand goes, how about one with the rocket attacks in the South, as opposed to the heavy-handed response to your own people who are just trying to protect their own. No! The Rabbis should be condemning those who hurt their own for political reasons, let alone religious ones. Although, with all that said: I don't condone what the Settlers' did...but, I understand it and have sympathy for its inner-rage that feeds their sense of hopelessness. They just want to have a small piece of land that they love, so dearly. The true crime is not Nationalism, but political correctness run amuck...and, Liberalism that feeds it. God help, Israel...and may he destroy those internal forces that, so insidiously, tries to destroy the very democracy that promises the rights of the people...and their God-given right to the land.
10. I disagree with their approach BUT... their cause is JUST
no DEMOCRACY! ,   Israel   (12.13.11)
It is the Israeli governments fault that GOOD JEWS have so much hatred for this government. ALL officials are to blame: Bibi, Livni, Barak, all the way back to Moshe Dyan in 1967. The citizens who protect and do the most for this country are brutally beaten, ripped from their homes, families with children at 3 am.... we are not allowed to visit our MOST HOLY SITE... and the government does this to us!!!! How are we supposed to feel, react? Israel calls itself a democracy but Jews and Christians are not allowed access or to pray on the Temple Mount????
11. Bibi...
Jewish Patriot ,   Galut   (12.13.11)
Bibi first handle the Arabs and Hamas and then you can talk. Around a month ago the court sentenced a Jewish Board Guard officer, because she scared a suspected arab teenager... While you give out thousand of terrorists you and the sate imprison our patriotic ones? -.-' I'm sure the founders of 1948 would be ashamed. This is Goy Occupied Government, and don't have a lot to do with a Jewish state...the first step should be to REJECT THE UN
12. Absent from the Debate Table!
Z.Z. Coltrane ,   USA   (12.13.11)
The problem is from a Secularist, Humanist and godless government that has barred the true God from the public debate...and, that's just it, there is no debate when it comes to what God says about the land--ALL of it belongs to His Chosen people; the Government has no right in destroying the Zionist dream that lives in so many hearts. The true enemies' are those who try to minimize the importance of what God has to say--and to that: He doesn't care what mere-man has to say! God will bring judgement on those forces who try to destroy the Zionist dream. So, beware to all...who try; God is watching, and He hears the cries of His children, and He will, eventually, act on their part to stop those who do them harm. Again, just a warning! God bless Israel; praying for the peace of Jerusalem! A Christian
13. Netanyahu is ala Olmert trying to find his spot
Al   (12.13.11)
He believes this will save his political hide so he gangs up on a gang of kids. He doesnt know that the left, the media will inevitably bury him whatever he does. Netanyahu, a small pompous man who does everything and anything for the political sound bite.He believes in nothing but himself. He believes his own BS while he cowers to an Obama, a sworn enemy of the Jews. Beating up on the settlers will do him in as Olmert found out in Amona.
14. Nice timing, Bibi
Aviela ,   Migron, Israel   (12.13.11)
So a bus came, fifty people were loaded, attacked, damaged, injured other(s) and ran away, and almost nobody was caught? No license plate taken for the vehicle? Nice timing for a staged event to further dehumanize "settlers" to the point where ripping children out of their beds into their pajamas and bulldozing their homes in the middle of the night is acceptable. Next time, at least try to arrest a couple of people -- it'll make it more believable. Shaba"k leaves this awful smell and it's mighty difficult to cover up.
15. red line
Marcel ,   Florida   (12.13.11)
Mordechai said that a red line had been crossed. "using the IDF to evict fellow Jews from their homes while giving the Negev Bedouins and illegal Arab home builders a pass is criminal and self destructive and must end."
16. Was this really done by "settlers" (can you prove it?) ....
Stop & Think ,   Israel   (12.13.11)
or by leftist anarchists and the Shin Bet in order to make the "settlers" look bad? Before you blame a group you must prove who they are and not just pull tricks to make the governments dirty work against the "settlers" (aka GOOD FAITHFUL LAW ABIDING ISRAEL AND GOD LOVING JEWS) easier. FYI to outsiders: THIS ALWAYS happens just before Bibi et al plans to rip people out of their homes. Unfortunately, in Israel it is used all the time, to influence the (local and international) public, and it works.
17. When Leftists protest or riot
Paul ,   Jerusalem   (12.13.11)
or harass they are called 'Peace activists for Democracy and Social Justice', when Rightists protest they are called hoodlums and 'Jewish Terrorists'. We have the media to thank for such distorted 'Modern Semantics', that intentionally deceive and manipulative political controversy In this case, however, I have no doubt Sabak was involved.
18. Settlers fire first shot in civil war
Haim ,   TA   (12.13.11)
If the settlers want civil war lets give it to them. Cant wait bring it on, they are a bigger threat to israel than Iran. They are intent on destroying not only Israel but freedom and democracy as well .
19. Its a shame a Jew can not live in his own land
Moshe ,   Jerusalem   (12.13.11)
20. Settler violence
Joe Charlap ,   Jerusalem   (12.13.11)
Its about time a firm hand was taken against the settlers who think they can do whatever they want. Wrong!! They have been given too much of a free hand for too long. It has to stop now!
21. Bad Trip
Sigmund   (12.13.11)
These pysychotic deluded are on a very bad trip deluded far from reality .Other concerns are more pressing build underground and deep dont waste time on shacks the security control is in another solar system the ulam teller planet.
22. "Ripping kids out of their beds" argument leaves me cold
Yitzhak ,   Galil   (12.13.11)
Take out the violins. I mean, really now. These outposts are not authorized by the government, have been declared illegal by the government and the courts, and this makes the parents law breakers. Israel is either a country under the rule of law or we are all doomed. If these settlers cannot accept the rule of law, and wish to attack our sons and daughters in Tsahal, then I for one would gladly remove Tsahal's protection from these ingrates and let the settlers stew in their own juices. I've had enough of these messiah-intoxicated fanatics, and its long over due for lowering the boom on them.
23. Mr. Democracy Brak Netanyahu
USA   (12.13.11)
How about legalizing the Kach party. Any Israeli who ever mentions the word democracy needs to be reminded of what they did to Kach. That was the first stone to thrown.
24. 20 min vandalzing, stone throwing... not one tear gas canist
eporue ,   europe   (12.13.11)
25. #1 & 22 I agree completely
Jonathan ,   MN/US   (12.13.11)
26. #12
Jonathan ,   MN/US   (12.13.11)
he is welcome to enter the debate at any time. But he hasnt so there.
27. #3 yoni: Don't worry - Bibi won't do anything
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (12.13.11)
Bibi can't. He needs the right wing extremists to stay in power. Bibi Netanyahu is the Prime Minister of Israel. He has Government by the Settlers, for the Settlers of the rest of the people of Israel! Never have so many been ruled by so few! Don't get me wrong. I am NOT in favor of a Palestinian State but I detest people who take the law into their own hands and hurt our soldiers. These soldiers are OUR children and are the ONLY thing that stands between them and the terrorist Palestinians!
28. God Bless Zionist Religious Jews
Eli ,   Israel   (12.13.11)
This is what happens when you Push the Jewish people too far. No Mr. Ehud Barack, you are the terrorist, keep demolishing Jewish homes on Jewish lands and you are going to see what Torah believing Jews can do. God is with us, remember this, take a good look at Ariel Sharon, God is with his people, those who are devoted to Hashem will always win. This is just the beginning, Religious Jews have been making 12 babies per family while Leftist Secular Jews have been raising cats and dogs. The Kahane movement is growing strong, either you believe Israel is for the Jews as per the Torah or go back to Poland. Israel is holy land for the Jews, it was not meant to be New York City. This land is the Apple of God's eye, the land will vomit you out when you behave against the will of God. God Bless Zionist Religious Jews, May they prosper and multiply like the sand on the sea.
29. If it were Palestinians..
Lee ,   Miami, FL USA   (12.13.11)
I hate to say this, but if it were Palestinians who attacked the base, they'd all have been killed, but since it was fellow Jews, no casualties.
30. # 28 A worm in the apple
mba ,   Israel   (12.13.11)
You are one dazed dude. Sure your name is not Jack Teitel. "Take a good look at Ariel Sharon", are you serious? God was also with all the Torah carrying jews in Europe and I don't recall winning that one. I'm sure you can come up with some explanation as your camp is never responsible for anything - it's always God, for good or bad. Pity, such a hollow existence.
