And what transpired in the Southern District of New York far exceeds mere "allegations." Criminal complaints have been filed, and assets belonging to Lebanese companies, and certain individuals, have been frozen. Whatever you may or may not think, you need a certain standard of evidence to bring a federal lawsuit -- a fairly high one, actually. It would appear that the United States has met the requisite standard.
