This is an internal affair! Did Germany ask Israel's permission to seize East Germany and East Berlin without even asking the citizens in a referendum if they wanted to join the FRG in 1989?! In any case, Germany is also NOT in the quartet, but rather only one of the many voices within the EU's representative to the Quartet, so it should not criticize as if it has a say in this matter! Finally, we're all wondering why the FRG doesn't say anything about Arab attacks on Israel, including rockets- that's not a "devastating" message to the peace process?! Germany does not get to be a critic in matters dealing with Israel, Jews, of morality. Not now. Most likely, never. They need about 2500 years of decent and moral behavior prior to timidly asking to be allowed to essay ANY opinion about Israel. Can they manage that? Time will tell.
