31. Which Government?
Ed Codish ,   Pardessiya, Israel   (12.28.11)
I meant of course the government formed after the last Knesset elections. It's all we've got. I did not vote for a party now in the coalition, and dislike many of the people and decisions involved in it. But it is the legitimate government of the State of Israel and has the right to make and enforce decisions. Ed Codish
32. Self-Reflection 4 all!!
Kevin John Lee ,   Barrhead/Scotland/UK   (12.28.11)
No! matter how many minus"s there are plus"s but unfortunately they don"t compensate all.
33. So show leadership and hand the criminals over to the police
Brian Cohen ,   Judean Peoples Front   (12.28.11)
If your kids are all so high and mighty, then show some leadership and initiative by handing the criminals who attacked the IDF base over to the police. Your kids "view the IDF as directly responsible" because you did a shitty job educating them! The government controls the army, not the other way around. What kind of garbage are you feeding your all stars if they believe the lies that it's the IDF's fault? What an irresponsible and downright stupid attitude that is. As a youth coordinator you should be damned concerned that there are very bad apples among the youth in Samaria - and here in Judea too. The teens who decided to build have to understand that just like in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, you can't build without a building permit. Why are you encouraging them to break the law? You're not doing your job.

well said!
35. #33. Restrictions on Judea/Samaria building are pure racism.
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.29.11)
#33. There is a huge difference between obtaining a building permit in Judea/Samaria and doing so in Tel Aviv, as I'm sure you know. Although Judea and Samaria are the 3,500 year old Jewish ancestral heartland, Jewish building is severely restricted in Judea and Samaria solely because it is Jewish. This is pure racism. Nobody should tolerate it.

37. in praise of settler youth
joe ,   USA   (01.01.12)
I look at Israel and tremble for its future. A nation can survive only if they agree on whom to obey. In USA in 2000 we had an election that was decided by the Supreme Court. A recount was cancelled. Many of us did not believe that this was justice. But all of us including Gore, accepted. THIS IS A COUNTRY OF LAW, and the law is what The Supreme Court says it is. Your Supreme Court ruled many times on this. You say you are a law student. You should be the first to respect it, even if you believe is not just. Israel has other democratic avenues if you would like a change.
