It was a serious propaganda mistake not to persecute and trial Hads Amin el Husseini. Among his crimes was for instance he paid 10 palestine pounds for every killed jew during the 1930-s. In his trial before an israeli court would have questioned the arabs right to posses the Temple Mount. But D. ben Gurion rejected this plan, paralel with the Eichmann trial, as he thought Israel was too weak that time. A mistake I think so.

Saddens me That yet how the the people can come in and try to claim what is not there's! I pray to God the father he intervenes on this one. By your account, the land of palestine was seized from its inhabitants -- this surely includes the temple mount -- there is no 'original' claim here. The 'word of God' is a matter of faith, and an obvious point of disagreement. Further, there can not be a "Israel" until Israel(God) comes and gathers His people to inhabit His city; who are you?

The Temple Mount has been there for over 2000 years. It was built as an enclosure wall of the platform on which the Temple was built (hence the name Temple Mount, get it?). No Dome of the Rock.
