They are trying to run a business while, at the same time, spreading an appreciation of the performing arts. They will perform where there is money. It's ridiculous for this group to try and boycott them because they choose to perform in certain places where there is business.

regardless of where they are in the State, whether in Tel Aviv or on land that is disputed (but not occupied). If the organization claims they are non-political then they cannot push a politically-based issue like claiming land belongs to one group or another, nor the status of "occupied". This has never been legally established and most opinions are based on a simplistic reading of the Geneva Convention. This group does a disservice to the art world by trying to politicize it, when both arts and academics must be left out of the political sphere.

The greatest compliment by an opponent, the most truthful admission of an adversary, the most humiliating objection of the rival is the demand he not be exposed to the one against whom he complains he is to be compared.
9. The Show Must Go On...
Ruth Rachel AA ,   Norfolk, Virginia   (01.06.12)
"I am a Jew. Hath not a Jew eyes? Hath not a Jew hands, organs, dimensions, senses, affections, passions; fed with the same food, hurt with the same weapons, subject to the same diseases, heal'd by the same means, warm'd and cool'd by the same winter and summer, as a Christian is? If you prick us, do we not bleed? If you tickle us, do we not laugh? If you poison us, do we not die?" ~ Shylock, The Merchant of Venice, William Shakespeare The question is not one of revenge, but rather, the need to defend oneself, in order to survive...The show must go on...
