31. Was the mosque contacted iro the noise level?
rebecca ,   Modiin   (01.04.12)
Were there any official complaints? Why did the journalists not contact the municipality to see if anything was done before this. Useless journalism.
32. This is as silly as the line from Spaceballs
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NY   (01.04.12)
How is the relationship to the FM that is this stretched worthy of mention? "I am your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate."
33. What about moslims that are not religious.
jason white ,   afula, israel   (01.04.12)
sick, infants and little children as well as those that work night shifts? Perhaps they do not want their sleep disturbed, but are afraid to say anything to the religious. Just use one of those machines that calls people's cell phones to alert them. Or they can buy clocks, alarm clocks and wrist watches that point to mecca and alert the users with an alarm five times a day. Leave people alone! Someone wants to pray, go do it and do not disturb your neighbors.
34. We are not in the 7th century
Babbel Wady ,   Somewhere   (01.04.12)
Israeli citizens of Muslim faith have been totally embracing this wholesome Social Media Echo System, with technological tools to boot. So, why not take advantage of this new possibilities and accomadate the neighborhood where mixed citizenry exist. The cellphones have an app can be downloaded that call upon the Moslems to prayers: eh voila. If we want, it ought not be a 'legend' or a 'myrh'.
35. YAY! May this be the 1st of all mosques worldwide!!
Rochelle ,   Durban, South.Africa   (01.04.12)
No one is telling them they can not pray, nor advise their followers of when prayer times are. The objection is to the NOISE POLLUTION. All other religions are able to communicate very effectively with their adherents, successfully advising them when their services begin. Email, sms, Twitter etc are all noiseless methods of advising co-religionists of service times. BAN MUEZZINS, like in Switerland
36. NOISE POLLUTION THIS IS FREAKIN' ROCK CONCERT
Bad Assed Jew ,   US   (01.04.12)
No one has the right to broadcast the volume so loud as to annoy their neighbors. I don't know about you but allah akbar scares the hell outta me after 9-11. Ever hear of a silent prayer?
37. The police were the last to 'pee' LOL
Bad Assed Jew ,   US   (01.04.12)
38. Comment from the Netherlands
Danny D. ,   Amersfoort, Holland   (01.04.12)
The only reason this mosque plays them muezzins so loud is to agravate people who live life in reallity instead of with their heads in the quran for 24/7. Good call this.
39. And Yet...
And Yet ,   Israel   (01.09.12)
And yet I couldn't help but say to myself, "What a nice Jewish boy that Avigdor - he visits his mother every week..." Only in Israel.
