1. Anything new ??
joe ,   newtown USA   (01.04.12)
they hate each other... so you can expect them to negotiate peace ?. It is about time that the world will understand - they speak in two tongues - one to the western powers in English, and the other to their own people completely different in Arabic
2. Question to our Foreign Ministry:
Zeev, Haifa   (01.04.12)
The FM site officially states that the Territories are not “conquered”, but rather “disputed”. Question: Would it not be reasonable to avoid “creating facts on the ground”, while the future of those “disputed” territories is being negotiated? An answer is unlikely. But would be appreciated...
3. PA
bill jackson ,   U.S.A.   (01.04.12)
It is time for Israel to live in peace and harmony. But it is evident , once again they will have to clean out the trash. Or to make it plainer KICK the shit out of the same BULLIES on the block!
4. Nothing new because no change on core issues
Sam ,   Canada   (01.04.12)
Solving the refugee issue could bring change on other issues because that speaks to the issue of Palestinians accepting a Jewish Israel. That's the key issue for Jews.
5. WHAT? You mean that....
Gideon Reader   (01.04.12)
...there has not been a breakthrough in the "Process"? Love for the neighbors has again eluded thr grand bargainers? This is just so,...so totally UN-expected. I thought that surely what with the eleven members of the quartet all hollering o'capella at the top of their voices that Peace was at hand. You see,...? It's those damned settlers again. THEY are the reason everything fell through. If they would just move to somewheere around Bhutan or the Torres Straits, of somewhere, everything would soon ssolve itself and susnlight would peek through the clouds, and all that kind of crap. Wait. maybe some slim wisp of a IDF girl child swaddled in olive drab and boots who kijes to Hum a song in the shower of a morning is the problemo.
6. Arabs demand to impose borders yet claim they want peace!
PETER SM ,   AUSTRALIA   (01.04.12)
Dictating the terms of surrender piece by piece. Then comes the refugee " winning card" to complete the destruction of Israel via the " Trojan Horse" horse negotiations as enunciated by the moderate PLO. peace partners
7. The Justice
Zivron   (01.04.12)
All Arabs of Palestinian origin even ten million if they have the capacity to live in peace with the Jews ought be allowed within the boundaries of a Human Rights Democratic Security State a good safe wholesome and noble life equal in all ways but Jews of Common Decency and High Competence need imperitively to control The Security
8. "Breakthrough" is code for lunatic Israeli concessions.
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.04.12)
Every time your hear reports of a "breakthrough" or "progress" in the fraudulent peace talks with "Palestinians" - you can bet Israel has made another lunatic concession. There is simply no other place these dangerous talks with genocidal terrorists can go. They have no other purpose except to weaken Israel for the kill: as "Palestinians" have proudly admitted countless times. It's way past time to end the truly evil charade.
9. Anything New?
Margaret ,   Bible belt   (01.04.12)
These are not the people of the Book,, Tanakh,,, no peace?? You figure, these people are not the recipients of the prayers of the Prophets, they are just a trial for each other, the Jew and the Pal, just think, there is suppose to be some peace somewhere in time, it was and is predicted, do we need to keep spinning our wheels to see that these people are not the people of the Bible nor their descendants where a type of peace is the inheritance, where a piece of land is safe from strife, lions laying down with lambs and a place where G-d dwells. We should all be honest with ourselves and look at this time warp we're in, a sort of deception, it is/was said the whole world would be deceived, think about that, the whole world would be deceived, that's good enough for me to know that this "Valley of Decision" that is Israel is very narrow and small but clear enough for all to see that the people that inhabit this valley will never have peace because they are not people of peace it's not in them. Just think of the time dimension we exist in where it defies G-ds essence which is peace, rather his name.
10. NOTHING happened during a US demanded 9 month moritorium on
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (01.04.12)
building and they want building to stop again? Talk about fools asking for the moon, they might as well ask to fly there without space suits.
11. Baruch Hashem
Israeli 2   (01.04.12)
12. Palestinian official said.....it's not a big deal.
Valter ,   Brazil   (01.04.12)
PA sources say that if Netanyahu stops building, bigger opportunity COULD emerge (no certainty). Hamas' Barhoum says meetings go against Palestinian aspirations. Yet the UN countries blame Israel for the peace talks stalemate. How much more anti-Israel can they be?
13. Even the neighborhood dogs are no longer disillusioned
Noodles ,   Coney Island   (01.04.12)
14. #6 I'm with you Pete - its just a fool's talkfest
Scott ,   QLD Australia   (01.04.12)
Talk crap all day at taxpayers expense. Complete and utter waste of time - and they know it. I bet the luxurious catering makes such events "bearable" for these hot shot, time-wasting wankers....
15. Because stopping for ten months helped a lot. [/sarcasm]
Yair   (01.04.12)
16. Now, that Israeli representatives met with the reps...
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (01.04.12)
...of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in Amman, the capital of Arab Palestine, i.e. Jordan, we should all be pleased, especially with the fact that the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), finally, after three full years of wasting time by refusing tot approach the negotiating table, are doing so. And, once at the table, let us assume they will, as Israel has all along, conduct themselves based on the fundamental international law related to the Arab Israeli conflict and the agreements on which they have signed: 1) San Remo Conference, 1920 2) League of Nations decisions, 1922 3) United Nations Charter, Article 80, 1945 4) UN Security Council Resolution, 242, 1967 5) Israel/Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Interim Agreement, 1995 And, I strongly suggest that all of us study these documents and begin to conduct our discourse about the subject at hand based on the legal history of the conflict and the way to resolve it instead of based on "narratives", i.e. short fictional stories designed for political expediency.
17. The plan is not to have "peace" but to get rid of Israel
Alan ,   SA   (01.04.12)
ALL the new regimes of Islamists from Tunisia to Gaza (incl Hez and Hamas ) have all vowed NOT to negociate with Israel ...All this too and fro is just a fig leaf FOR ARABS.They believe that if they can draw it out for more years then Israel will drop like a ripe plum into their hands.
18. #16 jehudah
forehead1 ,   ohio usa   (01.04.12)
you love to quote unsc 242, yet you cannot see the section that states the non jewish population has guaranteed rights. i dare anyone to show how the arab rights have been protected. further, how can you make arguements when you do not know your own address? Qatzrin is not in israel.
