Perhaps the poster is despicable, but the arrest of the two men is illegal. About a month ago a blogger put up similar images to protest Netanyahu's policies. The AG (I think the Left-leaning Lador) decided not to press charges because the such images are protected under Israel's basic law for freedom of speech. The only other similar case was when GSS agent Raviv made similar images of Rabin with the blessings of GSS legal counsel Beinish. Hopefully, the courts will force Aharonovitch to immediately relieve the police who ordered this illegal arrest from all duties.
2. this makes me so sad...
sephardi leftist ,   Israel   (01.04.12)
I am sad because in my heart I feel that these violent, terrible (and disgusting) posters are coming from the place of someone's REAL feelings of pain. For someone to have so much pain in their heart that they turn it into hate is very sad indeed. I respect these people's feelings but I DO NOT AGREE WITH OR CONDONE THEIR ACTION(S). May the G-d of Israel assist us to move away from baseless hatred and towards real lovingkindness towards one another.
3. " under freedom of expression "
yossi   (01.04.12)
YOU and your kind didn't make it trough Hitler; Goyim armies made it possible. And we, the real Jews, made it through 48' without YOU and will continue to do so in 2012 and thereafter.

6. #4, #5
israel israeli ,   tel aviv   (01.04.12)
#4: I think you have a right to say that. I think the people who made the posters (including Raviv, the blogger and the Haredim) should be jailed. The AG thinks differently. #5: I don't think it is funny that police can just arrest two innocent civilians, knowing they commited no crime. Today it is two little Haredim. Tomorrow it will be you. It's called the slippery slope to facism that Michael from Haifa likes to complain about, unless Haredim are the victims.
7. #4. No it's his usual manner of speech

8. Incitement?
Reid ,   Washington,USA   (01.05.12)
I'm confused. They claim incitement when the Pals use rhetoric. They claim incitement when other Jews protest haradi intolerance. But they think it is alright to photoshop the police as Brown shits. I don't understand their morals.
