the author conveniently forgot to mention that terrorist attacks against christians in lebanon haven't happened in several years. or the fact that it is the only country in the middle east where christians have any real political rights or about the fact that it is the only country in the middle east with christians holding the presidency and other high ranking positions

Islam as is practiced in the Middle East freely gives the multiple gifts of intolerance, ignorance, poverty and death to anyone they subjectively believe is an infidel. But it is the Muslims of the Middle East that are the infidels as there is no fidelity to God but the wreckage of death & destruction they leave behind.

the only christianity leaving the middle east are denominations there will always be christians there and they will multiply. the old saw about telling a lie loud enough and often enough people will believe it is proved here. it is the same as the lie about Israel being the agressor in the middle east when 99% of the time you see and hear Israel defending themselves. i know if Israel defends themself it is provocation but if islamic and arabs attack innocent Israelis it the Israelis that are in the wrong what a joke. these lies are promoted by anti christian and anti Israeli factions and are not based on truth

Do you really believe that Israel has not wanted or tried to keep sovereignty over Bethlehem ? It was only since 1967 that Christians have been able to have free access to Bethlehem. Maybe it is about time the Christian Arabs stand up to the Moslem Arabs alongside the Jewish Israelis.

How laughable. It sounds as if Islam is a religion that was only recently established in the middle east, rather than the established majority religion for the past 1400 years. Funny how in that time there was no end to "Arab Christianity." And given so much bad blood between Christians and Jews, I find this unholy alliance quite amusing.

Seems to be a common theme these days for morons to attack the messenger of the truth but never the message. In every Middle East country except one, the number of Christians is falling, not just percentage, but overall number. We are the ones blamed for it, even though the Christian communities have resoundingly supported the Islamic calls for genocide of the Jews.
